Three Days Grace: Over and Over Meaning
Over and Over Lyrics
It brings me down but I'm the one to blame
I've tried everything to get away
So here I go again
Chasing you down again
Why do I do this?
Over and over, over and over
I fall for you
Over and over,...

The way I see it is that they're is a girl in his life that he falls in love with and no matter what he does to try and stop it, he can't and every time he gets over her he falls for her without her even doing anything, this song makes me cry cuz this literally describes me with a girl lol

It is one of my favorit songs,so i have research about that ,adam had write this song after getting rehab from his addiction . It's a song about how he feels before his rehab how its feel everyday for a human with drug addiction.he obiously know about it's such time wasting to give your time what is bad for you.he was trying to get free from his addiction . (But if you think drug as human)it's just never tried to set him free. It was just involving him for more it was just making him fall.

To me this song can be about two things. yes its sounds like he if falling for the same girl over and over no matter what happens he always chooses her or, it could be about drugs. "I feel it everyday its all the same it brings me down but I am the one to blame". could be talking about back when he was on drugs. he was the person to blame for doing it over and over. always coming back to it. it brought him down because he couldn't feel anything as he was on it

I think it's about him falling for this girl, but he knows that being with her is bad for him. But whenever he tries to leave, he feels like he needs her, and always falls for her. I swear, this describes my love life perfectly.

its about his addiction to drugs

Ive heard this song is about Adams addiction, which does make alot of sense listening to the lyrics. But looking from a relationship aspect it also makes sense. If your looking at it in a relationship way he seems to be saying there is a girl he was once with and she left him wanting absolutely nothing to do with him. He knows this but just cannot get over her no matter what. He can't explain why he does it like when he says "why do i do this" " i try not to" "i know what's best for me but i want you instead" and i believe he's saying no matter what he'll keep trying and loving her. But like i said listening to the song addiction does fit perfectly...although you can look at drugs or relationships can be unhealthy i guess its how you want to interpret it which is the greatest thing about music :)

I heard that this song was about the lead singer's addiction to drugs. But it can also be about someone you love. In my opinion the song is about someone trying to get through a breakup, and he/she has tried to get over him/her, but he/she still loves them a lot and tries to get him/her back. They know that they shouldn't try to get him/her back but they feel "dead" without them. They can't get him/her out of their head and they try to think of how to get them back. Right now i can really relate to this song...
-
It's about a girl. He's desperately on love with her. But somehow it's not working and he's unable to get over it. He tries to forget her but fails every time. And he gave up trying to forget her and keeps wasting his time chasing her and holds on the feelings.
-
i think its about a girl that he likes and is to scared to ask her out and goes though the days trying to find a away to get over her or get with her
-
I think it is about a person who falls in love with a person but they cant go up and talk to her/him and tell him/her how she fells because she is already taken or he/she is to scared to do so. That's what I think this song is about.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
-
this song is about an addiction to drugs. "over and over, over and over i fall for you. over and over, over and over i try not too" as much as he tries not to take the drugs anymore, he does it anyway because he's addicted. "over and over, over and over you dont even try to"
-
I think that he is saying that there is this one girl he likes but she leaves him of betrays him over and over by sweet talking him and everytime she does that he just falls for it. He tries to forget but can't and so he tries to impress her thats what "...so here I go again, chasing you down again..." means.
