One-X Lyrics

Do you think about
Everything you've been through
You never thought you'd be so depressed
Are you wondering
Is it life or death
Do you think that there's no one like you

We are
We are
We are
We are the ones
We get knocked down
We get...

This song was probably written to make people feel like they are not alone. "Do you think that there's no one like you? We are, we are, we are. We are the ones. We get knocked down. We get back up and stand above the crowd, we are one." This is saying that you are not alone, we all are. We all stand as one, and you are not the only one who is feeling depressed. Everyone gets knocked down, but we all get back up too. This is an amazing song and I love it :D

I might be wrong about this, but I think this song is about all the people who are bullied/were being bullied.
"Do you think about Everything you've been through You never thought you'd be so depressed"
This stands for how people never think they would be so sad because other people are bullying them, yet they are.
"Are you wondering Is it life or death"
This is the part when a person is considering committing suicide because the bullying has gotten so bad.
"Do you think that there's no one like you"
This is when they are thinking they are the only ones being bullied, and no one knows how they are feeling.
    "We are one"
This symbolizes everyone who's been or is being bullied is one, as a whole.
"We get knocked down We get back up and stand above the crowd"
The knocked down part refers to the actual bullying, the we get back up and stand above the crowd part stands for how we recover from being bullied and are better people because of it.
"The life I think about is so much better than this"
This is talking about a life without being bullied.
"I never thought I'd be stuck in this mess"
    This mess being the bullying.
Again, I might be wrong, but that was my interpretation of the song's lyrics

My interpretation of this song is that it's about all the different people that go through different issues in their lives. This song tells everyone that none are alone, but that we all stand as one. It also speaks to the ones that have it better off then others, and that we should all "stand above the crowd", and help everyone up on their feet. It's a great song and I hope my interpretation helped.

Anyone consider it is about bullying? "we get knocked down, but we get back up" the artist is trying to say that if we stand strong and together, we are unstopable.

I think this song and this album title both mean the same thing, seeing as the lead vocalist (adam) was addicted to oxycotton before admitted to rehab, and oxycotton only had one x in the word, i think thats what it means, and the song lyrics mean that when he feels the addiction coming back he fights through it and gets back up.

To me this song means: life? Should I go with it anyway or just end it then that persons finds more people like him/ her.

I think that this song is telling us that no matter what we are going through, whether it be depression, a lost love (death or a break up), drug addiction, etc. that we will always have someone else who knows and has/is experiencing what we are feeling, and they will be there to pick us back up, no matter how many times we fall.

You're not the only one going through what you're going through. You're not alone.

I think that One-x would be about how you get depressed and you just want to give up on life but you just cant give up...

    We are the ones!
    We get knocked Down!
We get back up and stand above the crowd,we are one!

Getting knocked down and getting back up is saying u dont give up...

Personally I think this song is about a person in depression that is depressed about life, and he/she is reviewing his/her life and is sad that life isn't worth it all.hence "Do you think about
    Everything you've been through
You never thought you'd be so depressed
    Are you wondering
    Is it life or death
Do you think that there's no one like you" it sums up the song and then it talks about getting knocked down and standing back up, which is being depressed and bullied then coming up a better person full of understanding. The "ones" are the people that understand life and have been through it all and felt true pain. Think an emo person in pain and being confused.

This song is basically about being depressed and that you don't have to go through it alone. It's a really great song and has helped me through a lot.
