Simply this song is about someone trying to get over another who wont let them forget. All he wants to do is forget all the pain she has put him through... but she won't... the memories are still hurting him to the extent they will make her cry if she could see his pain.
This girl most likely deceived him and let him fall. That might be what is meant by her being a lier. Destroying him... maybe cheating on him.

I think that this song is about being lt down by someone (a girl). Then you start to realize that you were nothing the her eyes. But she was everything in yours. Now your pissed at all the shit that person put you through and you cared.
