Water Fountain Lyrics
She told me that she loved me and she didn't love him
And that was really lovely 'cause it was innocent
But now she's got a cup with something else in it
It's getting kind of blurry at a...

#1 top rated interpretation:the song is about a girl telling alec she loved him, but alec rejected her and moves on to another boy, this boy takes advantage and rapes her, which makes her take her life at a young age (to young), which makes alec wish he said he loved her back instead of being scared to say it.
this is my interpretatio
n of the song. -

#2 top rated interpretation:She told him she loved him but he wasn't ready for that kinda commitment. In time she moves on but more from loneliness and the innocence of being young, she went out with a guy, taking alcohol, the way he touches her makes her feel dirty. He's reminiscing, wishing he had accepted her love, but he was too young, and he's imagining he's the one holding her and not the other dude.
The song's full of regrets, lost opportunities, mistakes and love -

#3 top rated interpretation:The entire song is basically full of regret. The girl told Alec that she loved him, however he wasn't ready. She has then moved on and began to like a different guy who then takes advantage of her. The rest of the song is talking about how Alec wishes that he had told her he loved her back and had a relationship with her, in which he wouldn't take advantage of her. (If you want to know you know the real interpretation make sure the message is from the artist himself.)

She confessed she liked him and he refused then she went to a bar and a guy offered her a drink that had something else inside (she's got a cup with something else in it) and he took advantage of her and raped her and he wishes he accepted her confession (idk)
-
i think it means that:the girl confessed to him but they're to young for that so he didn't accepted her confession (?), but when they grew up, he went back to that water fountain and he saw that the girl "who confessed" to him along time ago was already inlove with another guy. "i should've built a home with a fountain for us, the moment that she told me that she was inlove" at this part, i think he meant that he wished that he accepted her confession when they're still young :'))
-
That she was with someone else but she told him that she loved him instead and later he sees how he treats her and wishes he tried harder to be with her
-
she said she loved him because she did, but he dindnt do anything for it.
she went to that party because being home alone was «depressive».
he was waiting for her to come back but he never fight for her. -
she said she loved him above the other guy. she went to a party because being home alone made her sad. she got drunk and the other guy went for her. he was waiting for her to come back to him but she never did. his heart still longs and waits for her, but she never comes back.
-
Him and a girl fell in love by a water fountain and they confessed it to each other. but then the girl fell in love with another guy. Even though the boy was sad that the girl had left him, he was still willing to be with her if she came back to him.
-
Alec had told the girl he liked her by a water fountain and she told him she liked him back, but she was trying not to break his heart because she was dating someone and realy din't like him. Alec later sees her with her boyfriend and it makes him upset. This is my opinion please don't judge!
