All Time Low: Therapy Meaning
Therapy Lyrics
When I woke up alone, I had everything.
A handful of moments, I wish I could change, and a tongue like a nightmare that cut like a blade
In a city of fools, I was careful and cool,

i cant say i know the band well i dont but all i could think of myself going through therapy. the song spoke to me as i am recovering from a suicide attempt. you would think at 28 i would be more comfortable with myself. definatatly a walking traviste. 28 self harming closet case. well thanks to this song i no longer have to be.

The lyrics in this song are pretty self explanatory. And Alex himself has said multiple times that "this song is for all people who are told what they think or how they feel is wrong" I think this song is also about when someone is trying to change you do is telling you that what you do is wrong (ex. Piercings, dying of hair, selfharm) when it is all just a part of what makes you. . you

ok so I've really been though therapy and I'm only 13 but i feel this song has a couple different meanings first i think its about some one who basically hit there all time low and relizeies they need it but doesn't want it. i also think its about being bullied and needing help but not therapy like people think they do all they really need is some love. i think the meaning can really change over time and how u feel i personally relate to it because my mom thought indeed therapy and thought it could help but i hated it it just made things worse o and ps i may be wrong but this is just what i feel

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

At the concert that I was at, Alex said that it's for us and everyone that has ever been bullied or anything like that. But, most of all it's for those that put others down. Telling how they affected them and stuff like that. I'm not really sure- but I'm pretty sure that's close to what he said.
