Avenged Sevenfold: Buried Alive Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Buried Alive Lyrics
When the voices screaming are much too loud
Take a look in the distance
Try and see it all
Chances are that ya might find
That we share a common discomfort now
I feel I'm walking a fine line
Tell me only if...

I think it's about a battle between good and evil losing something you love is the absolute hardest thing to deal with. Notice st the end of the song his anger took him took him the wrong gate hint hint. The devil is promising him to take away his pain and gladley take his soul. He turned his back on god and now he is paying the ultimate price. This is where anger leads you. Dwell on.that. I have been thinking of killing myself for a while because of my wife. But I have a beautiful 8 month old girl. This song saved my life 7

The song starts off with reflection. Remembering how his heart used to be. (Happy/sad music) he is saying pay attention to your spiritual battle. He knows he is taking the wrong road but keeps checking asking only tell me of its real. He keeps onward. Maybe selling his soul for music none the less he wants out but he can't. Is chained like a space. Then the rest of the song is Hell.

I think it is about dying before you are ready.

I'm going to have to agree with the losing faith, i think its about killing yourself, how a person feels before and as they do so and then finding themselves in hell as a result.
-
Buried Alive seems to be about losing your faith and the consequences that ensue. Just my opinion and in my defense, I am pretty dumb.
