So Far Away Lyrics

Never feared for anything
Never shamed but never free
Alive to hear the broken heart with all that it could

Lived a life so endlessly
Saw beyond what others see
I tried to heal your broken heart with all that I could

Will you...

this song is based on the feelings that synyster gates had when his bestfriend jimmy passed away its also the only song he wrote.

I think that the song is just a way to say a final goodbye to Jimmy. Synyster really did a good job with the song. The Rev inspired me to do things i never thought i could. i will sorely miss him. FoREVer.

This song was written by Synyster Gates (the lead guitarist) as a tribute to the band's drummer Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, who passed away in 2009.

it's true that this song was originally purposed to dedicated syn's granpa's death, and when Syn was making the lyrics, The Rev said "How do I live without the ones I love".

I think So Far Away is a beautiful song written by Synyster Gates (guitarist) dedicated to their lost friend and wicked amazing drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan. It gives me a good idea of how much of an amazing person he was and how much they cared for him.

It is a tribute to The Rev. And Synyster did write it. But for his grandfather. Then The Rev died and they decided to dedicate the song to him.

the song was written bye synyster gates originally for his grandfather but when the rev died he was almost finished writing it so he changed the meaning. I think its the only song syn wrote if not one of the only ones. and its about missing somebody very close to you and not knowing what your going to do because theyre gone and you didn't get to say goodbye. :( and whatever asshole (sorry about the language) up there said to get over his death, true avenged sevenfold fans aren't going to get over it anytime soon and we know that we can't change what unfortunately happened to him but we all miss him deeply and that was offensive. R.I.P. The Reverend Tholomew Plague aka James Owen Sullivan. we will miss you forever.

and whoever said that they caught his drumsticks you are very very very lucky and I wish I were you.

It was origanlly written for Syn's gradfather but, then The Rev passed away and they made the song for him. As a tribute to their great friend and a great band member. R.I.P The Rev. You will never be forgotten.

This song is for The Rev. It was one of the songs they put on "Nightmare" after they already made it. When Jimmy died, they made two new songs for the Rev; "So Far Away" and "Victim". "So Far Away" was made by the band and "Victim' was made by The Rev's sister.

The Song was written by syn gates but it wasn't for the rev at first.

basically it was for his grandfather who passed away but then the rev died so he dedicated to the rev instead of his grandad.

Actually the song was originally written be Syn when the Rev was still around. It was written about Syns Grandfather but the meaning changed when Jimmy died.

I think it's mostly about The Rev since the video shows Syn's guitar has Rev instead of Syn on it, along with the videos of the guys with Rev.

i think this song is about the r.e.v. (god rest his soul) and the great relationship he had with the entire band along with the fanbase and that everyone is going to sorely miss him. r.e.v. was the person that got me into drumming when he threw a pair of drumsticks off stage and i caught them from that day on i have been drumming and(not surprisingly) most of the songs i cover are by a7x when jimmy was alive . i just wish he hadn't gone .jimmy 4REVever.

The first line is: "Never feared for anything" not "Never bid for anything"...

This song is about Jimmy and Synysters Grandfather and Syn wrote this song. Some people thank that Fiction is about Jimmy when its not. I mean I thought thats what it was about at first then someone told me.

Syn wrote it for his grandfather and after James Owen Sullivan or jimmy the rev sullivan passed away he made the song about jimmy
