Avenged Sevenfold: Not Ready to Die Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Not Ready to Die Lyrics
Gone
Cast away in time
Evil yours, now evil mine
So I robbed you blind
The voices in my head suggest a less than peaceful side
The endless possibilities
controlling every fight
You can't break me
Crushed the...
-
I believe its for all the Zombies characters Because they are fighting because, well they are not ready to die
-
In the chorus:
You can't break me
Crushed the fears of yesterday
You can't take me
Barriers, our trust will fade.
The parts where it says
"You can't break me"
And
"You can't take me"
I think that's it's the zombies from call of the dead talking because. They're basically saying you can't kill me or take me. -
I think this is Rictofen because when he says the the endless possibilities of controlling 935 he's referring to controlling Tank, Nikolai, and Takeo. After him supposedly wiping their memories he may have planned to use them as pawns so he can survive and regain control of his failed plan of controlling the zombies for his army. The barriers in the song possibly refer to the games barrier feature and daddy's little girl and writing on the wall would be him referring to Sam's writing on the wall on most of the maps. - Damien

When it says "coltrolling every fight" if you listen closly to the song it sounds like controlling 9 3 5. from Maxis view

i dont know about everyone else here but have you noticed this song has nothing to do with maxis, sam, or rictofen? its based in a snow covered wrecked ship with movie stars. in my opinion i think its a mix of the actors and the director who turned zombie. he wanted to control people through movies much as every director does and the "im not ready to die" part is the actors fighting back

I think this is from Dr.Maxis OR Dr.Richtofen's Point-of-view. Though the first five lines describe how Dr.Richtofen Is "casted away in time" = he is in call of the dead for some reason where it says "i robbed you blind" is referring to how he killed Maxis. Now the rest of the song shows more Maxis than Richtofen. The next verses say "controlling every fight" = this only makes sense with the next few lines where it says "iv stood in the dark been waiting all this time" refers to his minute role in zombies. Because samantha has been featured and potrayed in almost all the zombie songs. So this could also mean that he intentionally uses samantha to do the "dirty work". Another clue that supports the my last sentence is that in almost every line the singer is said to be a "we". It also says "loyalty is no match for power" showing that the dr's are fine betraying each other as long as it comes with control & power. "il control the world one person at a time" could mean maxis using the zombies to control the world which is obvious because of his obssesion on controlling them but samantha could be the only controller of the zombies so hes uses her. the other parts like "im not ready to die" & "While we damn the dead I'm trying to survive" & the scremo parts are refrenced to Richtofen. i hope my theory was good XD.

When he says "barriers, our trust will fade, is when they break in and they become useless
-
I'm thinking it's Dr. Maxis' impression since they've already made a song for Sam "115"
-
I think He is Samantha from Call of Duty zombies. He sounds demented in the song and is reffering to zombie apocalypse when he says 'I control the world; one person at a time.'
