   Ok maybe I'm going out on a limb here. Doesn't anybody else get a sexual pressure vibe from this song?
   Seems to me like she's speaking to somebody she's dating. He's giving in to peer pressure and it's changing him. He's also wanting to take the relationship farther, but she is calling him out on how much he has changed.
   I believe the correct line is 'LAY back, it's all been done before' not laid back.
   'never gonna find out you fake it' could be faking sincerity about the relationship.
   
   that's my take anyway. Could just be peer pressure in general.

   I think that her friend is just wanting to be like everyone else and Avril is finding that they act like someone they're not around everyone else. i can relate to this cause my best friend is acting like that now we're in college

   This could be about a person she was madly in love with and just... everything faltered. She saw him for who he really was, but she knew that he wasn't worth her tears or any emotion so...there she is in the same situation she's been in too many times before and...she was fed up with feeling that way. He wasn't work the work it took to keep the tears from falling from her eyes. That was the last straw for her...she was completely done.
