   She originally wrote the song about her grandfather dying because they were like best friends when she was younger and he meant the world to her.
   
   The song itself is about losing someone you love, whether it be your parents don't allow you to see them, they died, one of you is moving away, or they're being shipped off to war.

   This song is basically about making sure you value the ones you love before they are gone, and how being apart from them makea you not feel whole "The pieces of my heart are missing you". In the music video it shows three examples;
   
   There is an old man who's wife died and he is sad and lonely. It shows him felling her clothes and looking at wedding pictures and such.
   
   There is a teenage couple out in the woods (?), and the girl's mother drives out and makes her leave. Later when the girl is in her room, she takes out her camera and looks at some pictures she took of them and him.
   
   Then there is a young married couple. The husband is in a uniform and headed off to war, and it shows him getting on the bus with other young men. After he leaves you see that the wife is pregnant. Later it shows her watching the news and seeing all the destruction, and checking her phone to see no new messages. At the end of the song it shows that she got a text from him saying he is okay.

   I write that song and my friend Joshua made this song with max martin and he’s a good writer and he played for Taylor swift, and also it had some fun love song to other women out there it supposed to be beautiful and I’m blessed to work with Joshua and max Martin. The director came and said, if you guys wanted to do a music video. We would like to come and go to United Kingdom and meet the queen, I love her, and she gave me a hug and she gave me a dress from her closet, and it’s gorgeous, it’s a perfect fit for the video.

   I think this song is completely to the other song I wrote with someone who can help me directed to my video, but it’s very fun to be in the music video. But it’s different than my other song to make it more power ballad. But it’s really difficult to write about to make this happen with us.

   this song is about loving someone even though they are gone or if they have a long-distance relationship and are set apart. They still love each other and miss each other. (For example) Mother: she still loves her husband even though he is gone to the army, she still misses him. Daughter: she still loves him even though they are still set apart but she still lovey-dovey him. Old Man: Even though his wife is dead, he still goes to the cemetery and gives flowers to her and talks to her like in the end where he says 'I MISS YOU' so yes.
