Please Take Me Home Lyrics

Oh no it happened again,
she's cool, she's hot, she's my friend
I try for hours if so,
you leave me no where to go

She's unstoppable, unpredictable
I'm so jaded, calculated, wrong

Please take me home, too late, it's gone
I bet you're...

Ok, Great song by the way, Tom just rocked on this one. This song is about a guy, who has a great and true friend, girlfriend obviously, and he falls in love with her, and apparently, it's mutual. So they date, and everything was perfect until they find out that they just aren't meant to be boyfriend and girlfriend, so they break up. At the beginning, the song just tells us that this guy fell in love with his friend, after that it says that he was mistaken about the relationship "i'm so jaded, calculated wrong".
In the chorus, it says "please take me home" which means let's return to how we were, "too late, it's gone, I bet you're sad" their friendship is too damaged, "this is the best time we ever had" means even though I'm heartbroken, I enjoyed being with you.
Then, it goes back to when they were beginning their relationship "I hope that it lasts, give in forget the past", he is introducing his new girlfriend to their relationship. "Be strong when things fall apart, honest, this breaks my heart" is when the guy realizes that the disaster is imminent.
And finally, the bridge: "Why did we have to go date, It's too easy to complicate" the guy is regretting having thought that dating his friend was a good idea, and the mistake that he did.

i think this song is about a guy who is like best friends with a girl and is becoming attracted to her and he asked her out and she said no basically and then "Please Take me Home" he just wants it all to go back to normal, the way it was before he asked her out because its now all awkward (trust me I did the same thing ><)

It's about a guy who goes out with his best friend who is a girl. It doesn't work out and he regrets it.

I think this song is about a guy who falls for a female friend ('Oh no it happened again,
    she's cool, she's hot, she's my friend')
and it seems to be a summary of their rommance and his feelings as they break up; probably she dumped him and he had hopes for the relationship that she didn't share
'I hope, hope that it lasts,
    give in, forget the past
Be strong when things fall apart,
honest this breaks my heart '
    and
'Why did we have to go date?
    It's too easy to complicate
Be strong when things fall apart '
Then again I could be completely wrong...

It is about a boy, that was best friends with this girl for as long as he can remember. So know he is getting more attracted towards her. That why when it says wrong! he thinks it is wrong 4 him 2 like her. In the beginning it says Oh no it happen again she's hot , she's cool, she's my friend. That what he means about that.
