All The Small Things Lyrics

All the, small things
True care, truth brings
I'll take, one lift
Your ride, best trip
-
Always, I know
You'll be at my show
Watching, waiting, commiserating

Say it ain't so, I will not go, turn the lights off, carry me home
Na,...

    DUMB DUMB DUMB!

Tom Delonge, DID really write this song about his girlfriend. The lyrics "She left me roses by the stairs, surprises let me know she cares" is an actual event that happened. Tom stayed late at the recording studio and when he got home his girlfriend had left roses by the stairs. And to the person up there, you're right about his girlfriend getting sick of him writing about other girls.

The Windmill part means that she doesn't stop. And that she keeps on going on.

All the small things is a song about a funeral that connects Adam’s song and all the small things. All the small things is sung by the guy who the funeral is about. If everyone had done the small things you wouldn’t be carrying him home.

In Adams song he is referring to going home which is a grave.

Keep your head still, I’ll be your thrill. Left me roses by the stairs. Commiserating.

All things you do at a funeral. These two songs are super deep.

What is the part say it ain't so, I will not go about. Is there a possible break-up in play?

This song was written for Toms girlfriend. She was upset that he has written so many songs about other girls and none about her. It has NOTHING to do with blowjobs except In the live version when he says "a blowjob lets me know she cares"

    Keep your head still
    I'll be your thrill
    The night will go on
    My little windmill
A windmill does what? It blows this song is about his girlfriend and that line does refer to blowjobs

This song was writing for the singer's girlfriend.
And it is called all the small things because its taking about all the little things she does for him and that he appreciates it. It says "my little windmill" because its talking about how she won't stop loving him and she'll just keep on going.

Windmills rely on the wind, which is always there. I bet that's what he means by 'my little windmill'. She'll be there even if he doesn't want her to, but she'll stop if he stops existing (Like a windmill would stop if there's no wind)

And I think this song is sort of him thanking his girlfriend for being there and showing him she cares, and even if he doesn't show it, he cares about her too.

the windmill is a metaphor for her coming of age as rite of passage for bringing in sandwiches, if you know what i mean jelly beans. she likes to put things in her mouth, this definitely not about a blow job. I heard an interview on Radio Disney and this most definitely just means that Janet, Bob's girlfriend is growing up and realizes that her boyfriend, now husband is a pedophile AKA pedobear.

His gf is the one person he can depend on and all the the little things she does to show she cares don't go unnoticed.

'All the small things' is obviously a bit of phallic innuendo, surprised I didn't see that written-backed up by the use of a magnifying glass on Blink's crotches video-literally implying 'small things' ;D

I think this song is about how he likes the small stuff she does for him and just wants to show his appreciation through a song instead of person.

Tom has said in interviews that this song is about his girlfriend and NOW wife Jennifer... and I think it's about her giving blow jobs as well... I mean my little windmill? yeah, that's honestly what it sounds like to me

I suspect the Windmill thing has more to do with the way she dances than anything else. And he calls her his little windmill.

This one is just a guess but It wouldn't surprise me.
