Bring Me the Horizon: Drown Meaning
Song Released: 2014
Drown Lyrics
Got a hole in my soul, growing deeper and deeper.
And I can't take one more moment of this silence.
The loneliness is haunting me.
And the weight of the world's getting harder to hold...

#1 top rated interpretation:I feel deep down this is about his depression now after the rehab. I know for me it explains my manic depression to the tee. I feel his torment. Day in and out. Finaly reaching out to someone and saying I'm not ok.fucking help me.

3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:I believe it's about someone going through an incredibly tough time whether it's depression or drug addiction and they are looking for that one person to save them, pleading in the dark for that one persons help because they know that person is the only one to help them escape. I believe it's about love and knowing you can't make it through this alone

I think this song is about being betrayed by others or being stuck in a deep depression and struggling to find people to help you and or just in general feeling alone and realizing that the people you surround yourself with suck and you need to be around better people because they will not save you from yourself and will let you drown

This song is about Oli’s battle with drug addiction...he can’t fight it alone, he’s crying out for help!

A girl who has been friends with a guy for sum time now has fallen in love with them. When she tells him her feelings he rejects them. Even thow he loves her too and just dosen't want to ruin their friendship. The girl had begin to avoid him. After a mounth or two he grows concerned and goes to her house to cheek up on her. While their he notices the door is unlocked and it semed as if no-one had been their for years. He called out for her only to get no reply. He decends up the stair case and to her room. He didn't find her in her room and became a panicing mess not being able to find her. He looked in every room but her bedroom bathroom where he finds her in her tud sumerged in diluted blooded water not breathing. He hastily remover her from the water. She had drown her self. He would begin to cry still holding her lifeless body in his arms and calls the police. Not even a week had passed, he couldn't handle the pain of her being gone forever and drown himself just as his friend had done.

The lyrics, "Who will fix me now? Dive in when I'm down? Save me from myself, don't let me drown. Who will make me fight? Drag me out alive? Save me from myself, don't let me drown." Means you're wondering who could "fix you" and help you when you're feeling depressed or sad/down. You're wondering who could save you from yourself like your thoughts. You're wondering who could give you the hope and strength to fight it and to see another day, Keep you alive and who'd be willing to keep you here with them because they don't want to loose you, They can't loose you.

What I think Bring Me The Horizon's song Drown is either about god or Oli's suicideattempt or drug use. In the song it says "Im not okay, and it's not alright, won't you drag the lake and bring me home again". But really I also think this song probably talks about god? I mean in the music video the drummer is being possessed by something so then some priest and nuns help him out by preforming an excorsist. In the latest album, Sempiternal, he mostly talked about that there is no god and "fuck your faith, no ones going to save you", he also said in the song House Of Wolves "Show me a sign, show me a reason to give a solitary fuck about your goddam belief". Maybe alot of religious people got pissed off if they had the chance to listen to it. Well this is basically my opinion about their song Drown.
