Song Released: 2010
It Never Ends Lyrics
All you feel and all you want you still need your blood
Talons raised but different now you're up to no good
Take my hand show me the way heal all the children who can't be saved
Take...

#1 top rated interpretation:actually, this song is about Oli struggling with his drug problem.
"It started off with a one night stand and lingered to a fling"
He tried it once, thinking it was the only time, but he got hooked.
"All you feel and all you want you still need your blood
Talons raised but different now you're up to no good"
He looks like the same person, but he feels different inside.
"Take my hand show me the way heal all the children who can't be saved
Take my hand show me the way heal all the children that make me sing"
(It should be we are the children who can't be saved)
He fell in with all the other people who have lost their way, due to the drugs.
"One more nail in the coffin, one more foot in the grave
One more time I'm on my knees and I'm trying to walk away
How has it come to this"
Every time he does it, it gets worse and he's basically killing himself. He doesn't know how it got so out of control.
"I've said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a thousand fucking times
That I'm OK, that I'm fine, that it's all just in my mind"
He wants to seem okay, and he doesn't want his loved ones worrying because he's telling himself he's okay, even though he knows he's not.
"But this has got the best of me and I can't seem to sleep"
He's losing his peace of over this.
It's not just your alone with me, it's just you'll never leave"
The drugs make him feel alone and needing them more, and he can't get rid of the feeling.
"I've said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a thousand fucking times
You said it's a suicide, I said this is a war"
He's fighting this with everything he has, even if it could kill him
When I rode into battle
Battle, this is, oh.
(It's supposed to be
"And I'm losing the battle
Man down! Man down
Oh!")
This is Oli feeling like the drugs are beating him and he can't win the fight
This is what you call love? This is our war, our cause
(It should be
"This is a war I can't win")
He's losing hope in beating his problem
One more nail in the coffin, one more foot in the grave
One more time I'm on my knees and I'm trying to walk away
Everything I've loved, and everything I lost
He's losing everything he loved due to this
"Every second. Every minute. Every hour. Every day.
It never ends. It never ends."
This is something he deals(dealt?) with every day, and he can't just forget about it. -
