   Drake in this song tells a story of a love story that started well with both partners in love with each other on the honeymoon phase of the relationship, but as time went on he noticed they don't really love each other it's just the things they do when they are together.it gives them the illusion that they are together. so drake realized this and the feelings he had started fading but the girl continues to live in the illusion of being in a world that ended according to drake. the guy stopped feeling the way he used to but still cares for the girl and doesn't wish to see the girl with someone else. drake will be there physically to support the girl but won't act the same way he did when he was also in love because he feels it's a wrong thing to do, which is to give her hope where there's none because he wants something different, he wants to move on.

   Personally for me, Drake feels like there is a missing link within the relationship he has with a girl. He realises that he doesn’t want to lead her on.; it’s the “wrong thing to do.
   He respects her feelings and understands her intense love for him. Drake feels like he’s hurting both of them by staying around. Everyone’s perception of love is flawed as “we live in a generation of not being in love.” He feels they are only staying together because they are “scared to see each other with somebody else.”

   Drake doesnt want to lead this female on any longer. He's finally come to the realizaion that he's not gonna continue leading her on because "its the wrong thing to do." So he'll continue to be there for her because he feels bad and cares for the female, but doesn't feel as strongly. He "needs something different" and is not as emotionally into this relationship like the female is.. He's finally realized what he's doing is the wrong thing to do.. Its time to move on. He can continue to be there for her as a friend, he'll be there when she's talking, he'll let her touch him but he's not gonna listen/care/get so emotionally involved. She can touch him but he doesnt want to hold her. He doesnt wanna show affection of love as if he's closed off... Because she actually loves him..

   personally i see this song as two people who loved each other except it faded and they both began to fall out of love but they don’t want to accept the fact they don’t love each other anymore, they don’t want things to change. he can’t stay with her and act like everything okay when it’s not. He can’t say he loves her, he can’t hold her, he can’t touch her as it’s the wrong thing to do. both of these people know they need someone different but there scared to see each other with somebody else. - i think that is the meaning of this song.

   I think it about this generation not really being able to really express our feelings that's talking of love with the person we love this might be because we are afraid the person might not feel the same and our feelings will end up being thrown back in our faces, because in the beginning of our relationships we believe everything is going to go well and when we fall out of love we can't keep putting ourselves in the position of being in love with the person anymore and yet because we still care we are going to be there to listen and yet not wanting to go far to the point where we have to lie about our feelings because we just don't want to be with you anymore and so we choose to not really get involved so as to not get hurt but we end up being hurt because when you don't express those feelings you just end up loosing the love of your life to someone else, so yo avoid this we choose not to go all in with the person we love and this hurts the other party going all in

   The song "doing it wrong" by drake, is about him and lil Wayne. Drake and Wayne have been friends for a while, and over time Wayne has caught feelings for Drake. However Drake doesn't feel the same way about Wayne, but still wants to be his friend. In the song Drake talks about a girl instead of a guy, or Wayne himself, because he doesn't want to humiliate his friend, and so that "today's generation" doesn't judge the two.

    He loved her but she loves him. He needs something different a girl who's not emotionally in the relationship like her but he didn't want to hurt her so he stays. Until it's time to move on, he'll let her talk to him and touch him but he's not gonna stay because it's the wrong thing to do and he doesn't want to show any love/emotion to her.     Drake and this girl care a lot abot each other, but its something missing in the relationship, and it doesn't feel right. But the girl loves drake and deep down she knows that he'll probably never love her the way she loves him . He's saying that he needs to move on , and so does she but he cares to much about her to see her in pain.

    this girl and Drake are in love but dont know where their relationship is heading at this point in time, so Drake goes looking for something different.. She loves him so much, but he doesnt want to break her heart by saying that he doesn't love her so he says 'i love you to' ...They both love each other but theres something missing that will make them complete. So it's hard for them to walk away because he wants to stay with her but he doesnt feels security in this relationship, so she fels hopeless because she wants him but he doesnt know if he's going or coming.
