Drake: Teenage Fever Meaning
Song Released: 2017
Teenage Fever Lyrics
You're to blame for what we could have been
'Cause look at what we are
Your friends are scared to tell you you're in too far
Funny that it's always been all about you from the start
I met someone new...

#1 top rated interpretation:having an intense connection with someone and the potential foundation for a relationship however the boy gets distracted by someone easy & current he doesn’t take the opportunity to invest in his first love. hence leaving his first girl for the quicker route and thus enhancing eachother’s heartache.

2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:I personally think it's about how young love is these days,
It's about a boy and a girl we drifted or broke up, and the boy goes out to have fun and meets someone new, and it's about him catching feelings for the new girl, and he's willing to give his all, even if he may receive nothing back.
Basically, it's about heartbreak and more heartbreak. Teenage love these days. -
3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:Teenage fever is simply just indecisiveness and when he says “why second guess i should’ve stayed you say the word i’m on the way this shit feel like teenage fever” he’s saying that he shouldn’t have even second guessed his feelings because he knows no matter what he will go back to what he was indecisive about with just one word

This song hits hard and is the best, i cannot lie. Y'all know some ppl become friends with u, some ppl betray u, like it happened to me, So let me tell u what this song is about, This song is abt friendship, feelings, and more. I have friend issues, and trust problems. And then, when i feel like that, i get so annoyed then, i have no one to talk to. And I only am gonna stick with Ralph, Orochi, and my good friends. Although Orochi is friends with someone new as well (too).

This song is about how their was lots of potential for a real and lasting relationship, but it wasn’t solidified as they either drifted or broke up for reasons unknown. After the breakup the person who we'll just call Drake found someone new, but while Drake is enjoying his new person, his connection to the ex is causing him to have second thoughts on his new relationship and miss the ex, but hes still going to entertain the new person.

This song is about how their was potential for a relationship, but wasn’t solidified. Then along came someone that was better and the person(protagonist) felt that this person deserved so much, but the protagonist is skeptical. Idk
-
Drake just left his girl because she didn’t love him as much as he loved her. So he found someone new who wants him and now she wants him back but he only wants the new girl
