Make Me Proud Lyrics
I like a woman with a future in the past
A little attitude prob all good it'll make the shit last
Don't make it too easy girl, don't take it too fast Yeah, that's it, right there, that's it
Do it just like that
Only you could it...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:Well, I think this song is about the educated women who respects themselves, And there all about there business and not about the stupid things. Men always trying to holla at them because they know there something special, But these women aren't really interested.
Basically Drake is saying he's proud of the women who are out here handling there business and being classy. =] -
Pride in the music genre of hip hop/rap; Drake expresses his high notion of an individual who possesses an outstanding ability to be a female rapper, virtuosa (italian). A light battle of wits and words, Nicki and Drake delight at making people keep wanting more. Nicki Minaj oppresses the traditional female rapper status, then Drake adds, "Everything's adding up, you've been through hell and back That's why you're bad as f--- and you know you are." *DAZZLING*

I also agree with them bt part of me think drake was talkin bout nicki. We all knw she was smart...she is independent. "ben thru hell n back", we know her past. "p*ssy run everything.etc" she always talk bout being bisexual nd drakes proud b/c she "pays" guys no attention. Plus she comes n wid b b bad I am right after drake talks about a girl thats ben thru hell nd back thats y she bad as f***.

...That was mind blowing I thought I was listening to my biography for a second. I agree with the above interpretation but seeing as im 17 I dont own a business but I know where I want to go and I think thats what he means is the women with a "plan" know what they want to do and where they want to go. But yes they have more important things to worry about then all the silly boys/men that are in it for something else, men are usually jeolous of women when they are or become successful.
"p-ssy run everything"
---i wish he could have said that more elegantly.
