Drake: Headlines Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Headlines Lyrics
I might be too strung out on compliments
Overdosed on confidence started not to give a @#!*% and stop fearing the consequence
Drinking every night because we drink to my accomplishments
Faded way too long im floating in and out on...

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:its about different "headlines" and rumors that start about him and how people think he "fell off" meaning they think he isnt good anymore and he isnt on top of his game but he never fell off he was just busy making money and now they know he hasnt "fell off"
-
I think that he got caught up in the music business--learning how to adapt to it, and eventually becoming famous. Now life is easy-too easy. He has haters or people that see him as a changed person, no longer the old person he used to be. Nothing but a partier and in a constant state of "I don't give a shit" because he's constantly drunk or high. It seems as though he's satisfied with how far he came, but sad at the same time that it isn't really all it's cracked up to be. He still has his pride so he's sure to address those people that are telling him he has "fallen off"--but at the same time he doesn't see the point in caring. It is what it is and he doesn't see any way to turn around and go back, just keep going- but with much less enthusiasm for life in the end. He's just doing what he has to.

This song means that drake he never sold his soul so headlines is all abot romous but drizzzy got the money so he aint giver them tell em drake.
-
Well when he says starting not to give a fuc he's referring to ymcmb he's doesn't fear the consicoince. Any ways this song mainly is about how everybody thinks he's changed and all he cares about is money which he admits to be true.
-
This song is about Drake's success in the music business, his style of rapping, and the people who try to bring him down.
-
I think this song is about drake realizing how much his life is different now that hes rich and famous and a secret they know obviously but we don't.
