Marvin's Room Lyrics
“Hello
Yeah I just walked in
Yeah I’m good you still working?
tonight, right now?
‘Did I go out’ yeah I went out
I went, I went to a couple of clubs
I never went to bed

Secret Meaning of Marvins Room by Drake.
basically the song is about a girl he once had a relationship with, but the actual meaning is he’s saying he is her man she loves, but he hates what he’s becoming. saying “I know you still think about the times we had” is saying he wants to go back to those days but he can’t. he knows hes changing and admits all the wrong he is doing behind her back like, “I had sex 4 times this week I’ll explain” and in the hook he says “I’m just saying you can do better, tell me have you heard that lately” is saying he’s no good for her, but nobody will tell her that because he’s drake. it’s like he has 2 sides. aubrey graham, and drake. the guy she fell in love with and the guy he is now. -

#2 top rated interpretation:I think its about Drake's ex who he left to live his life of fame and freedom and women. but now realizes its not meaningful and its taking a toll on him emotionally. He realizes that what he had with her was deep. But she's already moved on and found someone else who treats her better than Drake ever did or could. Now he's lonely, desperate and lost so he rings her coz he wants her back but she declines.

#3 top rated interpretation:I think that marvins room is about a guy who was in love with a girl and didn't know it until it was too late. She left him and is with someone else. I think this song expresses how much he misses her and wishes that she was with him. It also shows how messed up he got when she left him.

So apparently this song is about a girl that Drake used to have peace with, but me and my friends are ok after all this happened. Every time i find something logical about people leaving me out, it's just thrown back at me, and i'm stuck without anyone staying with me.I am such a weirdo that i don't realize my own self anymore because i hate who i am now. I think i'm a bad person

so it really has nothing to do with the Leonardo DiCaprio movie Marvin's room? the movie is about changed behaviour towards family or in general people you should care about. putting yourself second and loving them.
-
I think this is a song about his ex,all put together its basically a song about his life before he became famous,he misses her and hez explaining how he wishes he could've done things differently and how he's struggling to his new life now..I admire that about drake,he can't hold back his feelings,he's the only rapper in the world who is actually bieng real and sincere.

My interpretation is that drake fucked up and lost what he needed to have in the future but now she has a faithful and loving boyfriend and she wont take drake back. He hates what he is becoming and if he had that girl it probably wont be like that.
-
It's called "Marvin's Room" because he recorded it in Marvin Gaye's studio, which was called Marvin's Room
-
I think that Drake here is just so bung about losing his ex and wants her bak\ck but she a chiq with real virtue and intergrity and would never cheat on her guy but i see that she actually has a bit of concern towards him and is shocked that drake calls her coz she says "are you drunk?" Drake though not wanting to admit it, was so caught up in his fame that he didn't relise that while he was chasing it he lost what really maatters the most. "he threw parties, had bitches" but they now all the same, everythings all the same and he's lost the essence of life. what Drake is saying is that life has slipped past his fingesr without him even noticing it. #shame. Cherish what you have....:)

that there so many girls he has in his phone thatd hed want but he only wants her(;
-
Marvin's room means that basically the dude had a relationship with his ex in the past ...realizing to this day that he want's her back and that she won't take him back because she found a new guy who treats her right. And he tries to express his feelings and is upset that she won't take him back!
-
My interpretation of the song is that, as anyone or mostly everyone has said is that he's used to the life of fame, fortune, and women but really wants to settle down and on this particular night, he's really drunk and calls this woman who isn't the type who likes to "get around." Drake calls her and tells her all this stuff like "f*** that n**** that you love so bad, I know you still think about the times we had" and so on but Drake is so drunk that he does not realize that he's putting his real feelings out or he do but still with him being drunk still sorta helped him put his feelings out. He repeats himself over and over again to her but she rejects him, in the end, he gave up at the end of the song. I think it's called "Marvin's room" because essentially it's the woman being in her boyfriends(husband who knows??)/Marvins room, which means she's in her boyfriends, who name is Marvin, room. She's in "Marvins room" who is her boyfriend or husband. All of these answers are just interpretations, no one will know the reason as to why it was called "Marvins room" or the "true" meaning of the song, maybe partial parts are right or maybe a lot of it is right but not exactly on point, unless Drake explains it, maybe he want it to be a mystery, maybe he really is talking about a real girl, I don't know, ask Drake, it will be better to hear the TRUE meaning. :)

He is just saying he is still in love with her after all said and done.

Drake is drunk and he misses his ex and call her to express his feelings that he wants her back even though she has got another guy but drake still wants her to cheat on her new guy ang get back with drake but she refuses because that new guy treats her better than drake....drake is upset+drunk!!
-
He's in marvin gaye's studio, he's drunk and this girl is obviously an ex or just a crush he had, he called her up seeing if she wanted to come by, yet she's has a man. He's telling her that he's made a lot mistakes he regrets, and that he's a changed man. Duhh
