This is NOT about this illumanati nonsense OR Kim or another girl. The "she" he is referring to isn't an actual person, but Hip-Hop itself. Why else would he end this with "Fuck you Hip-Hop?"

Eminem explained this song's meaning: "What the whole song is saying is that I have a strange relationship with hip-hop because I love it so much. I go through this thing in my head a lot, which I'm sure every rapper does, where you give your life to this thing. You literally give everything that you got. I come to work some days wearing the same thing two days in a row—baggy sweats—just dedicating my life to this. And there are times that I feel like I get the respect that I deserve and there are times where I feel like I don't."

    25 to life

The title of this song means he's been enslaved to the illuminati since he was 25 years old. When was Eminem 25?

1998-1999, when he signed his first major contract and released his first major album, Slim Shady.

"It's to late for the other side" meaning he has already joined the illuminati and he can't come back to the good side.

That is why it is "to life".. as if a prison sentence...

" because 25 years the illuminati was controling his life"- That doesn't even make sense. He is 40 years old right now. This song was written at least two years ago. So the illuminati have been controlling him since he was 12 or 13 years old? That's stretcing it, even if you do believe in the illuminati.

I say its about the illuminati because once you join them you can't get out of it no matter what you do (25 to life) this whole song is about them not kim or his mum and he wants to devorce the illuminati not kim he's wanted to stop rapping before but he can't because they own him and (its too late for the other side) cause he can't get away and he gave up his life for fame

The music is all about him neglected by illuminati, and he wants to leave hip hop referring to the society, and he wants to be free not be controlled anymore. he says "i dont think she understand the sacrifices that ive made" " took me for granted took my heart and ran it to the planet" "go marry someone else and make him famous and take away the freedom like you do to me"

Its an emotional battle between him and his tallent (25 to life) which "I guess I'mma ... and blessed" with, but really call it a curse, because "when you spoke to people who meant the most to you (fans) you left me off your list (u took my own life away)" so he finally "climbing out this abyss" even tho "its to late for the other side (to get his life back)...25 to life

i say 25 to life is not about kim he does not mention her once its about the music industri dont you notice the end how he says fuck you hip-hop im leaving you? because the illuminati was controling him the illuminati was cotroling eminem how he walked talked dressed and sang and he coud not take it the song is called 25 to life because 25 years the illuminati was controling his life 25 to life is a song that eminem made because he was showing how bad the illuminati is so after the 25 to life song he left thats why no one hers eminem on the radio. i never did this but ill let you on a secret eminem dint like the illuminati because from the start to be in the illuminati he had to kill a version read the devil bible and write on a paper with his own blood singin a contract selling his soul to the devil if ask why. you sell your soul to the devil for being famous having all the fame in the world but the bad thing is when you die.cause if you die you dont have a chance to go to heaven because you sold your soul to the devil then you go straight to hell.

25 to life is the sentence for first degree murder (in the United States). He is saying that he gave up his whole life for hip-hop, and its not giving him back the respect that he deserves.

He is saying that he is leaving hip-hop and by leaving, he is "killing hip-hop" hence the sentence for murder.

Wat em is trying to say in dis song is dat he is nt going 2 giv hip hop the same atention he has before because he feels like he daznt get the respect he feels like he deserves nd dat he is done worshiping the devil coz he states in his song say goodbye to hollywood dat 'he sold his soul to devil nd he will neva get it back' and in 'my darling' he shows dat the devil jst cnt live him alone promising him everything bt nw he says dat he is living it all.

25 here refers to da secret society he was engaged to. when Em walked away from da society, he regains his freedom,i.e., his life. and dis is what da song's abt. it has nothng 2 do wit Kim.

This song is about Eminem's relationship with hip-hop. This becomea clear when in the second verse he says "Fuck you hip-hop! Im leaving you. My life sentence has been served." He's spent over half of his life in the hip-hop industry, ever since he was 17. And hip-hop is his drug. He loves it but also hates it at the same time, so he feels stuck like he's in a prison. That's why it's called 25 To Life. "But a special place in my heart for you, I have kept. It's unfortunate but it's just..."
