Eminem: Cinderella Man Meaning
Song Released: 2010
Cinderella Man Lyrics
You know technically,
I'm not even really supposed to be here right now,
So fuck it,
Mine as well make the most of it.
Ahh ah ah ah eh eh eh eh ehhh
Yeah, haha
Feels good,
Whooo,
Guess I'm lucky,
Some of us don't get a second...

#1 top rated interpretation:this song is based off of the story of James J. Braddock. James was nicknamed the "Cinderella Man." He is talking about coming off the drug addiction and getting a second chance like Braddock did. This album was done drug free and he came out on top with it just like the Braddock did in boxing.

#2 top rated interpretation:This song is nothing to do with the Illuminati. It's about Emimem's life. Getting a second chance and making the most of it. That's what a true "Cinderella Man" is.
Before the first verse or anything, when the song starts, he says "You know technically, I'm not even really supposed to be here right now. So fuck it. Might as well make the most of it." He means that he knew his addiction could have killed him. But it didn't. And he's not going down that road again.
"Music is my time machine so call me Cinderella Man" -

The song is about his comeback but he’s talking shit about Benzino, as in The Source’s Benzino. He’s had beef with Em for no real reason and Em basically just called him out for being a shit rapper and a douche. And that The Source or not, Em is back on top.

i have been in the same situation revealed by this song after i ate half handful of weed.Your whole life would be projected to you, if you have been doing wrong. you would see your whole life and regret from what you have been doing all along. you can relate this to drug abuse but it is also linked to the spiritual world because you can not get into the spiritual world while you are fully aware but only under influence of drugs, drugs makes you lose yourself, so what happens if you lose yourself is that, your soul suffers. you would understand how it is important to choose good whilist you are still living, you would also realise that you have been living in darkness. you would feel like if you had a time machine you would go back and corrects all the wrongs you have done, but since it is not reversible all you can do is to ask God for forgiveness and thank him and try to stay in light as possible. the drugs makes you realise that if you die there is no coming back from this. you would understand how life is precious. you may not believe me but this is true, i heard the devil laughing and use the type of music i liked to mock me. you would hear evil chants then fall into a deep panic attack and fear. nobody want to die, we all want to live. spell evil backwards. God is light and there is a battle between light and darkness. everything good grows under the light. the devil uses fear to attack you. Dont allow the Devil to manifest inside you. please repend now and do good and stay inlight. i got a second chance

Anyone who has been through a near death experience and capatilized on it by understanding their time on earth is limited. A complete change of mindset has taken over them through gods grace and wisdom from that simgle moment. They left behind their past and looked only to working toward their best possible future and was able to overcome every obstacle that stood in their way no matter how the odds stacked against them. They literally have taken their near death expirence and made a complete 180 in their life for the better. No one could stop them because no one else had been through such a profound expirence. The more they realized this they realized how musics lyrics can show you the correct judgement in any situation; almost as if you were able to see the future, as if they had a time machine to see the reproctions of their actions before they were made. A fairly tell person only comparable to the rise of cinderella who came from nothing. A story that needed a fairy godmother to become true. But they are real, not a fairy tale...

This song is about illuminati. He is mocking the devil. He thanks God for giving him a second chance, that he got out of all that evil stuff. He says cinderella because a big satanic word is umbrella and when rihanna did the song umbrella alot of people started using parts of that word in their songs. "cinderella man" is the devil when he says cinder-ella he is separating the ella. The devil is coming into our lives through music and illuminati. when he says "if i had a time machine i would be cinderella man" he is saying that if he would have gone into the future and not changed his ways he would be evil. "music is my time machine" means that all of the popular artists these days are involved in illuminati and they are using music to bring the devil into our lives. All new artists just want to be rich and evil, they want to be the devil. Some may not believe that but i do. Lady Gaga and rihanna are big artists that practice alot of satanic things in their music, and videos. Eminem got a second chance and he is one artist that speaks out on all the evil.

This song is about his friend proof that was part of d12 that died in 2006

He sang the song to explain his whatever with the company and because his addiction could have killed him.

This is Em's clearest attempt to mock the devil and Illuminati. I fully believe he was in it or some other devil-worshipping group at other points in his life, like Relapse. By saying "Amen" and how he shouldn't be alive, he's praising God for allowing him to spread His word, even though it's not the typical way to do so (eg Cussing, Suggestive lyrics). At the end of the song, the line "who forms pyramids and raps circles around square lyrics" is a clear indication to me that he is mocking the Illuminati since one of their main symbols is the Pyramid.
