Song Released: 2013
Beautiful Pain Lyrics
(feat. Sia)
[Intro: Eminem and Sia]
I can feel the heat rising
Everything is on fire
Today's a painful reminder of why
We can only get brighter
The further you put it behind ya
And right now I'm on the inside
Looking out,...

#2 top rated interpretation:This song definitely has a powerful message to me. He's saying you have the strength to go on and continue, if you believe it or not.
"But yet you're still alive..which means you will survive. He's saying you've already come so far in your life. There's no reason to give up. This is definitely for someone whose going through depression or a rough time in their life. I think it's for someone who has been hurt and they're trying to get through it even though it's hurting and really hard -

#3 top rated interpretation:This sounds as though it is about the stages that one goes through when losing someone or breaking up. It starts out as he is in "shock stage" and does not know how to move on in the first verse. He is lost and starting the first steps. Later in the verse it describes how he did everything right and was no matter what happened she kept throwing shit his way. Chances are if it were a break up its describing a girl who moved on to someone else or who was dragging him along after the break up giving false hope. He then encourages the person to look on the bright side as time will only heal the wounds and after an amount of time the light will soon appear and realize that things are not so bad. Finally he describes the grief that has been holding him back from being himself like a jail cell and its a weight off the shoulders to be able to accept what has happened and move on with his life. The song progresses from being on the "inside" at the beginning when one feels there is no hope, to the middle where you feel you can forgive someone for what they did to you but its a false hope, to finally after realizing youve done everything you can and are able to let go of what happened and move on and be yourself again. Very deep

This song is very deep and a powerful message to a person that is struggling, and he is letting people know there is a way out through all this pain from being emotional hurt. He reassures people that are going through this that there is light at the end of the tunnel and to not give up. Everyone will heal, the memory of that person will always be there but it will get easier! I promise have hope, stay strong, and never give up!

My husband completed suicide about 2 years ago. This song speaks to those feelings that I had and still struggle with. The shock.. finding a way to push through, the anger.. everything. This song gives me hope to keep going.

This is marshalls everyday feeling . He suffers from ptsd you can ask any ptsd sufferer and they will say the same . He is so inspirational he admits his struggles through all off his music but yet I have not heard him once admit to suffer from post traumatic stress disorder I wish he did because he would give a lot of hope for others .

Well based on the lyrics and the video combined I would say it's about Crystal Meth. I hate to say it but seeing as he is clean now. I have mad respect for Marshall! But ever since I tried ice I have wondered if that was his real drug of choice. At the end, anyways. My addiction started with pills too. Slim and I are way more alike than I would like to admit. But if you have ever smoked Crystal then you will hear and see it. I had suspicions before but I'm sure now.
-
I think he is talking about the fame and how society will try to break you down emotionally and constantly try to push you to the point of where you can no longer feel anything and they will drive u to the point of of where you feel completely destroyed inside
-
It's about the process of fighting withdrawals from opiates.
-
It means yu should not give up in life yu have come so far to give up
-
This song is about his adhd.
-
I think he's talking about drugs/pills.
-
I think that this is talking about how you need to not give up. To be the bigger person and forgive the people that hurt you. "Although today you may weep cause you're weakened" It will be hard at first, but time will heal your wounds.

Meaning: Every tragedy is always worse the next morning. When there's no more fear and no more adrenaline. When you're just a big numb hole... what then? Why go on? What's there to salvage?
Quoted from http://www.musicinsideu.com/
I feel that this song is somewhat related to Kim Matters and the relationship they shared, but also to any relationship or situation in general where you woke up the next morning feeling that you have lost everything and despite the fact that you feel you have died, but just because you’re still alive, means that whatever it may be, you will survive and be stronger “So familiarize what having to swallow this pill is like. It happens all the time, they take your heart and steal your life And it's as though you feel you've died because you've been killed inside, but yet you're still alive which means you will survive”
Eminem tries to motivate you as a listener that doesn’t matter how difficult the situation, you can get pass and still forgive them “And I'm pulling for you to push through this feeling And with a little time that should do the healing And by tomorrow you may even feel so good that you're willing To forgive them even after all that shit you been put through. This feeling of resilience is building”.
At the end which I sense the relation to a broken relationship between him and Kim “But you've extinguished this living hell, Still a little piece of you dies”. Even though they have separated and he has escaped from a living hell relationship, a piece of him died with it, which is “TRUST”. He can no longer trust other woman, reference to “Stronger than I was” on the same album MMLP2, the 3rd verse ends with “I gave you all, you gave me none, But if you blame me (uh), you're crazy (uh), And after all is said and done, I'm still angry, yeah, I maybe, I may never trust someone”.
It’s a really good song!
