Five Finger Death Punch: My Own Hell Meaning
My Own Hell Lyrics
DO THE VOICES EVER STOP
My thoughts speak louder the more I resist
AND THEY'RE DRIVING ME INSANE
DO THEY EVERY GO
Inside I'm a danger to myself
IM A DANGER TO MYSELF
Inside I'm a prisoner of my own...
-
I'm a psychopath!! That's what this song means. I'm dangerous to you and to me, I'm crazy in the head.
-
When he says "IM A DANGER TO MYSELF Inside I'm a prisoner of my own hell" it means he feels as though his own demons have taken him and his life over. Basically battling his demons every day on end. he feels like he can't get away from those demons and until he can get away from them he is a danger to himself thus making him a prisoner of his own hell.
-
I think this is about a person who completly looses themself and tries so hard to be good and nice but fails and fucks up everything. That makes them feels anger and search shelter where finally can be alone with themself. The person sets restriction and seperates from world on their own wish. Hates themself so much that thinks they can harm other people.
-
I think it is about a man with schizophrenia and thinks he is a danger to everyone which is very offensive.
-
It's about being a monster and knowing that you're a monster, but you want and need so desperately to protect others from yourself that you forsake yourself in the process. And by that time there's so little of the innocent child who played with the toys in the attic that you're driven mad by how much rage you have and the voices that drown the screams of the you that wants to love and care for others.
-
This song can be the anthem to anyone that has or is a victim of abuse. I honestly think that the "toys in the attic" lyric gives that away.
-
I think this song is about someone trying to get out of their body because their mind control their actions and emotions.
