Song Released: 2015
Wash It All Away Lyrics
I've given up on society, up on my family,
Up on your social disease.
I've given up on the industry, up on democracy,
Done with all your hypocrisy.
[Pre-Chorus]
All of the chaos and all of the lies - I hate it!
[Chorus]
I'm...

#1 top rated interpretation:I am a recovering addict. when I was still using I found myself in a deep black hole of depression. I would often listen to this song and felt I needed somebody to save me... Or somebody to be my friend... listening to this song Sober with a different mindset I relate it to my higher power getting me up off the ground, washing away my sins and saving me. since I've surrendered to God, I'm empowered now to fight for my life , accept I've been given a second chance and have saved myself.

I think It's about the soldiers that were in combat, that they are now feeling the struggle of being forgotten and having the trauma coming back and haunting them. They feel like they're just rotting away like a log on the forest floor, or needing cleansed of their sins over the years. Whatever the true meaning is, I think the message is never loss hope of life, love, and yourself. Pray for our brothers and sisters returning home from war.

I think what he’s trying to say, is that everybody needs to eat more vegetables. Everybody enjoys picking an apple off the tree and eating it, but nobody wants to wash the dirt off of freshly picked carrot before they eat it. They’re able to make grapes without any Seeds, have engineered watermelon without any seeds, at what point in time are we able to get carrots without any dirt? This is what I think it means!

In a time frame. Where hes having difficulties in his relationship. And his friendship with band members due to alcohol. He is sitting there in his own world of hate. Loudwire went to town on ffdp. Everyone was on the i hate ffdp band wagon writing shit because they could on social media. Yet majority of the shit people called him out on they were doing themselves. Hes trying hard to find a way and or a healthy relationship/mindset to help him find his way in an unclear path.waiting for someone to wash it all away. He admits hes not perfect. And he wont change for anyone. He is who he is. He himself was going through an internal war. The key to his happiness is to ingore all the lies and bullshit spoken by internet trolls who have done nothing with their lives. And the wife he trusted to be there for him in his time of need. By the end of the song hes sitting their with everyone. His band. His wife Wanting the wife to leave. And his band memebers to have his back and trust in him hes doing the best he can and being honest and moral the whole way along.

In a world where suffering and pain has become the prevalent action, hope has been lost within the unit of families, media and world in general. Where the world seems to be against individuals and for just everyone seeking benefit from individuals for their own gain, they sit within their own hatred of the world: finding their own inner strength to find a form of defiance but it isn't enough. They are waiting for someone to come along wash away the corruption that binds everyone with the monotonous parasitic nature as described within the single phrase of 'I'm wasting here WITH everyone to WASH IT ALL AWAY'. Not to just wash away politics, but to take away what drags us down. What takes away from us as individuals. Who or whatever makes us less than what we are as we struggle. We have inner strength to fight against what makes us weaker, but while we fight with the turmoil of the actions of society, of the people of who drag us down, we fight with the inevitable that brings us down and are hoping for the individuals that come about and allow us the be freed from the fight, if even for the moment to allow a foothold to strengthen the grasp that is the individual. For what is right and what is allowed to stand against a machine that tears us down.

I am a fifteen-year-old girl, and I believe that this song refers to all the bad in the world, because we have so much bad in this one little world. I have many times agreed with this song because I have felt the exact same way. We ARE all wasting here, waiting for fo SOMEBODY to wash it all away.

I believe this song is about washing away the filth of the world! Rapists , killers basically all bad people in general when he says “I’ve given up on society” I’ve given up on my family refers to an inviduals family disowning that person for whatever reason. Also not trusting the government. And given up on the industry prob refers to music Industry as a whole with shady people at every turn trying to manipulate you into something for their benefit even if it is against your ethical belief.

i know just where all that hate and anger comes from, he was most likely badly abused as a child betrayed by his family. his drinking isn't the problem it's a side of effect

A person who has given up on society and is asking someone to destroy it by means of mass extinction event like global flooding, possibly from divine intervention or by cosmic collision with a meteor.
-
I believe this song is about a man who has given up on everything " I've given up on society, up on my family " and he is waiting for the right person to come Wash away all the pain and bad memories hence the chorus " I'm waiting here for anyone to Wash It All Away "
-
I believe Wash it all Away is about a man wanting to kill himself because of all the hipocracy in the world
