    I think, in my opinion, that this song is saying that although humanity may suffer, there is still a faint glimmer of hope that can bring anyone to God,king or queen,slave or peasant.That at any time of day, we may die, so live your life the way God made it so.And, also to never give up on life no matter how faraway that glimmer of hope may seem.There is always light in everyone's eyes.
