I would have to say that my interpretation of this song is probably as good as it's gonna get. The song itself is about marijuana; certain shade of green. It's true meaning is about getting someone to try it who is a little unstable and probably a little nervous about trying it. Brandon's lyrics sustain a sense of comfort for whom ever the song is for by insinuations that say "it'll be ok". These following lines attribute to my description:

"Could someone please explain to me your everpresent lack of speed?"

"Are your muscles bound by ropes?"

"You're gonna stand around 'til 2012 A.D. What are you waiting for, a certain shade of green?"
