Song Released: 2014
G.U.Y. Lyrics
[Intro:]
Greetings Himeros
God of sexual desire, son of Aphrodite
Lay back, and feast as this audio guides you through new and exciting positions
[Verse 1:]
I wanna be the girl under you (oh yeah)
I wanna be your G.U.Y. (yeah)
I wanna...
-
She wants to be the one in control. Like a "guy." The song flips part way through when she turns the tables and sings the "guys" part which is the GIRL. It's a domination song.
-
Lady Gaga finally admits she wants to spend more time on her back. Most likely after a long night of everclear and a carton of menthols.
-
Girl Under You is a relatively simple song. As Gaga explains in interviews, she is exhausted by always having to work and be an active performer, singer, and in general celebrity. In bed, and in sex, however, she just wants to liberate herself from the constant need to be this "woman on top" -- essentially, she wants to be under the "you" referred to in the song from a sexual position standpoint. She doesn't want to work herself even in sex, and thus wants to relax during sex.
-
This song is about sex obviously. G.U.Y stands for girl under you. She sings about wanting to be the girl under this guy and how it would be great. Great song by a great artist.
