Linkin Park: Faint Meaning
Song Released: 2003
Faint Lyrics
Handful of complaints but I can’t help the fact that everyone can see
these scars
I am what I want you to want what I want you to feel
But it's like no matter what I do, I can't...
-
Well, I think this song is talking about being ignored in some ways, hence "I won't be ignored!". Also, the fact that you cannot see their true bodies in the video, just "silouettes", also gives that away.
-
I think the song's simply about someone who is being ignored, and all the tension in his body is getting to the break point.
-
I think that this is about him committing self harm (I can’t help the fact that everyone can see these scars)
and someone not believing it's real (But it's like no matter what I do, I can't convince you, to just believe
this is real)and he is trying to get them to uderstand but they won't listen(so I let go watching you turn your back like you always do face away and pretend that I'm not.) -
I think this song is about someone who is being surpressed in his life. No one will listen to him, and so he puts this front up on how he thinks the world should view him, but inside he is screaming to not be ignored. This could mean that is inner self could be the thing being surpressed but take as you will.

It's a song about someone who is p****d off with his girlfriend because she doesn't believe that he is the man he said he was. He says that she misinterpreted him on first impression, and as a result, she pushes him away, cursing him etc. The boyfriend is slightly peeved at this, and he says to her 'Don't turn your back on me, I won't be ignored.'
