Melanie Martinez: Test Me Meaning
Test Me Lyrics
Woo
Hey God, I'll be the jester
Entertain ya to the best of my ability
When I suffer more, fragility, when I answer
Came here for a reason, oh-oh
So stop complaining, all have our seasons, oh-oh
It's not just a joke or a lesson to...
-
I feel like test me is about wishing for life's suffering to be a test from a higher power rather than just having suffered for nothing
-
I think test me is about Fame. "I beg to be tested by Goddesses resting their heads upon pillows of all they have learned" she wants to be tested by a higher power that have made wrong decisions. Mel and Many other celebrities are treated differently and expected to act different and once one little thing is gone wrong people are sending hate to her." I'm mortal" she's human and makes mistakes like everyone else no one is perfect
This is just my opinion :) -
I think that test me is about wanting to be tested by a higher power. ex:And I beg to be tested by goddess resting their heads upon pillows of all they’ve learned.
