Paramore: Feeling Sorry Meaning
Feeling Sorry Lyrics
well dont we?
but i dont see you around anymore,
I go to all the same places,
not even a trace of you,
your days are numbered at 24,
and I'm getting bored waiting round for you,
we're not getting any younger...

Totally love this song and was wondering what it is about. i don't know where the person who said it was written souly by Josh Farro got that information from but here is a quote from Hayley from paramore.net.
“At 20 years old, it’s the time when you’re either working hard at figuring it out or you don’t care at all. I’m talking about life here. The same holds true no matter what age you are, I guess. It’s frustrating whenever I see people with so much potential just throw away their dreams because they seem out of reach. Working hard is a good thing. I realize that the guys and I are extremely blessed to be where we are. It probably seems a bit like I’m talking down to anyone who isn’t on tour or selling records. But it’s not like that at all. It took a lot of sacrifice and years of touring and working our way from the ground up to get to this point. And even if it was all taken away from us tomorrow, every bit of it was worth it.”
i believe that Feeling Sorry is about the band as a whole and how each of them put their heart & soul into their music and the result they get is being famous. this song is possibly about others who have so much potential yet don't work on it, though it's from the brand new eyes album even i'm not sure what originally sparked the idea -
This was written by JOSH FARRO, and as you noticed the lyric, it states that "the rest of US are trying, there's no need to apologize, I've got no time for feeling sorry" Josh/the boys of paramore have no time for feeling sorry about what happened about their band breaking up. If you're not convinced, listen to the lyrics looking up, that's hayley's sorry for the band..

Hayley is trying to say is how she doesn't care much like she used to for a person after they have changed or done something for so long. When they want forgiveness or sympathy as she says in feeling sorry she doesn't give any.
