Rammstein: Sonne Meaning
Song Released: 2001
Sonne Lyrics
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, out
Everyone is waiting for the light
be afraid, don't be afraid
the sun is shining out of my eyes
it will not set tonight
and the world counts...

This song wasn't written for a German boxer, but for one of the Klitchkos
and Rammstein are definitely NO NAZI -
I agree that everyone has a right to have an opinion, but Rammstein a Nazi band? If you insist on calling every German a Nazi then you must also associate every American with slavery. If you read your history, you'll find that many Germans even during the WWII era hated Hitler and would never have taken part in his plan if they had not been forced to. Like they said earlier, Nazi is the nastiest insult you can call a German. I would know, seeing as I am German, and I can tell you firsthand that if a person supports what Hitler did, no one else will even look at that person. Sonne is exactly as they have already said: a boxing song.

Anyone who claim Rammstein is Nazi is stupid!!! I am American and I think all Americans walking around talking this kinda of shit is just plan silly. Learn about culture not what you want to know or think. I love Rammstein they are my favorite band and I am even learning German. I love everything about it and hope to visit Germany someday!! Go Rammstein you are beautiful!

It isn´t a nazi song and Rammstein has never been a nazi band.
i have to know I am German and not every German is a nazi. -
Sounds like Jews pointing NAZI at a good German band because they don't know anything about German history or the German Language. This is no Nazi song! LOL....it about a boxer
-
These guys are just dumb trolls who want attention.
One important internet rule: don't feed the troll!
As german being, I know better about the lyrics from rammstein, but it seems to be nice for some americans to call anything and everything Nazi, these ones with NO historical knowledge! -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

Rammstein... Nazi?
Sorry but that aint true... I can tell you that as a a german living in America "Nazi!" is one of the most stinging insults you'll ever hear. If Rammstein were Nazi, they would be outlawed. No German would listen to them. -
Stop insulting that first guy because he may be right you never know have any of you ever actually asked Rammstein the meaning of the song...NO! this is just a guy that believes what he believes and it is his opinion and everyone is entitled to an opinion......wankstain's
-
Again: It's NOT a Nazi-Song!
You obviously have no clue about the political orientation of Rammstein. If you understood the lyrics of "Links, 2, 3, 4" you would know better!
And by the way: Snow-White dying is a metaphor for losing your innocence. -
Wow...that first guy is the biggest penis in the free world! "Sonne"...a nazi song?
Yes, I'm sure some brain-dead loser who made the "Hitler" version is spitting nails now because Rammstein decided to rip off his song but use completely different lyrics and call it "Sonne".
Rammstein created and perfected the song "Sonne", not some random asshole who only used the music and put his own pathetic crap of a voice and lyrics in it.
Don't ever associate Rammstein with that "Hitler" piece of shit song again! -
This song is definitely NOT a Nazi Song, have you lost your mind???
The Version with "Heil Adolf Hitler" has been created by some stupid little guys who thought it would be funny to put a disgusting lyric like that into a beautiful Rammstein-Song! -
NAZI song you reckon? Haha, that's the funniest thing I've ever heard!! It was actually written for a German boxer for his entrance theme but was never used. Hence the intro counting to ten. and just before the chorus where they sing "And the world counts aloud to ten". NAZI, hahahahahahaha!
