Sleeping with Sirens: Alone Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Featuring: Machine Gun Kelly
Alone Lyrics
To see if I'm alive
Cause every time that I am near you
Is the only time I feel alright
If there were any way
I could think to turn back time
I'd stay here with you
Sometimes I sit and wonder
...

In the first verse, he is saying how he only feels okay around this particular person he is singing about. He is singing about their failed relationship and if he could turn back time, he would so he could stay with her forever when they were together and happy. But now he is alone and questioning the point of life.
The chorus is pretty self explanatory, but basically he is so broken (I could fall apart here and now) from this failed relationship and fears having to spend his life alone until death. He knows no one should have to be alone. He wants to be with the girl he loves.
Second verse he is questioning the point of life. He's had all of the materialistic things that he could ever need or want but he still wants the girl he loves so he doesn't understand what the point of life even is anymore. All he thinks of is this girl like at night when he's in bed and he doesn't want to just come home to nothing everyday with no one to spend his life with. Life is going by fast and he is saying that he won't have anyone when he is old to share all of his memories with. He'll be left with nothing.
In MGK's rap, he is saying that he is famous and all of the girls desire him yet this girl doesn't love him anymore. He doesn't understand and he's saying it should be the other way around where she is begging for him instead of him begging for her. She thinks he is trouble and he is saying even if he may be a bit troublesome, she needs him. He'd rather die with her than live alone forever. He's saying she's been so cold to him and thinks his fame is changing him but he disagrees and thinks that all they need is some trust and maybe some alcohol.
Basically this guy is in love with a girl who no longer loves him and thinks he's trouble from his fame and so he doesn't want to end up living life alone.
Good song. -
I think Sleeping With Sirens song, Alone, is about Kellin feeling dead and/or alone without a partners love. Wanting to have a relationship, wether it be friendly, or a lover, to help him feel more at home in his heart.
-
I think this song means that when your relationship is on the line or when your lover is mean to you that you feel this way
-
Kellin Quin, either as himself or a character, is questioning the point of life. He feels dead inside because he is without any meaning to his existence and he feels that he can find some meaning through love with a paticular girl to whom he is singing the song to.
I love this song; keep them coming, SWS!! -
What i think that this song means is that Kellin doesn't want to spend the rest of his life alone. He wants to come home to someone that will be true to him.
