Sleeping with Sirens: Sorry Meaning

Album cover for Sorry album cover

Sorry Lyrics

I've been thinking lately about you and me,
And all the questions left unanswered,
How it all could be.

And I hope you know,
You never left my head,
And if I ever let you down,
I'm sorry.

Whoa-oh

Oh NO NO NO!

I agree. I think this song is meant for someone that used to be in a person's life but isn't anymore because they were hurt so badly and couldn't take it anymore so they decided to leave. Now the person who who is doing the singing realizes how wrong they were in how they treated the other person so now they're brokenhearted by the loss of someone they love so much who they can't get back but can't let go of, so they're trying to say sorry for how they acted in the relationship.

I think this song is about not being good enough. It's not that he did something bad it's just that the person he sings the song to doesn't appreciate him. But he really wants he or she in his life so he keeps on trying to be perfect and says he's sorry because he's not good enough.

i think its for if you made mistakes and lost a person you hold dearly in your heart. they just gave up on you and your trying so hard to get them back by saying your sorry and you'll be better for them.

You hurt someone so they left you. But you hadn't realized you were hurting them until they left and you love them much, so you're trying to apologize.
