Sleeping with Sirens: Roger Rabbit Meaning
Song Released: 2012
Roger Rabbit Lyrics
You've got your friends
And you've got your foes
They want a piece of something hot
Forget your name like they forgot
Oh, ain't that something?
Some wanna see you crash and burn
And criticize...

#1 top rated interpretation:I think that this song is saying 'Yeah, some people are gonna treat you like shit, but it's up to you to love yourself and understand that no one is gonna know how you feel. You need to express yourself while you have the chance, because the moment is temporary and time is borrowed.'
That is what I think 'Roger Rabbit' is about. I am not saying that this is the definite meaning of the song, it is just what the song personally means to me.

#2 top rated interpretation:I believe that this song is about feeling like people don't love you and that you are all alone. And the only person that will truly understand what you have been through, but it's also about people not understanding and loving you if you don't say what you want and really express yourself. But it's also about listening to your heart and looking deeper inside yourself and being able to actually love yourself.

#3 top rated interpretation:"So when you have today, you should say all that you have to say..."
This quote of the lyrics is why I like this song. So really, meaning that while you still have today, speak your mind and say everything that you have to say, because you never know when that today is your last. That's what I get from this part.
The rest of the song, I agree with the other. -
This masterpiece is reminding us that you are your responsibility, and you play a big part in how people perceive you. It's not always the other people but it has always been you.
"Nobody's gonna love you if you can't display a way to capture this." Love is something to be captured. It is not magic. For you to be loved, you have to play your part.
Sort out the things you complain about, is it your fault? Other people's? No one's? Or maybe it was a flaw in you marked by other people. Make sure to sort things out.
- From me, to me -
I think that it's explaining how no matter you have gone through, or anything that may stop you, only your life can be reflected on those choices that you made. No, not everyone loves themselves like they should so no matter what the thoughts that you have about yourself will only matter to you because not everyone cares... barely anyone cares about other people so be sure that you might never find the person to truly understand you,but yourself.
-
it's pretty obvious if you listen to the official lyrics that no one is ever going to feel your pain, and no one is going to look at shit through your eyes because not everyone is gonna give a fuck about you.
-
I think it's about a girl that doesn't love herself and has insecurites and she is always putting the blame on the world and in the song theyre basicaly saying that no ones gonna love you or feel your pain its up for ypu to love your own self
