Rhinoceros Lyrics

Planned a show
Treasoned my roots
Ice cream snow
See you in june

Could have known
I would relive
Should have known
I would come see you

Your way she knows
And she knows she knows she knows

Colors show
After long
I should go
See you in...

When the Eagles were asked about “Hotel California” they said “It’s just a song. It doesn’t mean anything!” Young people should learn to recognize the creative use of words for what it is. I understand though. My generation too sought meaning in songs where there were none. If you look at the video, Rhinoceros has nothing to do with anything. Thank goodness! It’s a great song!!!

My partner of 10 years has left me and i was getting into this song a week before this happened to me. At the moment I still love her and my heart is broken, any when I listen to this song it makes it very clear to me yhat it’s about someone who doesn’t feel the love that you feel for them, and when you look into there eyes, it’s apprent. She has known this before I realised

For many years I didn't know what this song meant then I saw it live the other night and it seemed so apparently that it was about a surprise party and being disappointed that somehow the girl knows about it.

I think it means he'll see his mom in june -- the beginning of summer break.

To me it's about her having fun on this guy's expense.

I don't think it's a breakup song, but a way of saying "she knows exactly how I feel about her and I can only hope that she feels the same"

It's about knowing the chick cheated...she knows. The party juxtaposition is wrong. The theory of wanting someone who doesn't want you correlates. It's a break up song. He will never know the details. But she knows.

To me it feels like a slow but intense
    euphoric sedation themed drug song,
    In waves & beautiful vibes

    "Planned a show"-ingestion
    "Colour show" - the transition

"She knows"- reference to the substance
Only she knows where she's taking you

That's the way I feel & interpret the song.
Great thing about music, take it how you feel it

To me it sounds like a guy who likes some girl, but she doesn't feel the same about him. When he "planned a show" but then doesn't see her until June. And he thinks to himself "I must go." He realizes that she just doesnt feel for him.

It seems like a break up song.
