Faded Lyrics

Alan Walker - Faded Lyrics

[Verse 1]
You were the shadow to my light
Did you feel us?
Another star, you fade away
Afraid our aim is out of sight
Wanna see us, alive

[Pre-Chorus 1]
Where are you now?
Where are you now?
Where are you...

It is promoting devil worship. Shadow is the d and it is fading the light the woman also co representing the earth has sold her soul and let the monsters in her body spiritually and physical then they give the promise and fade away. (Is it a fantasy)then it refers to stars common d worship many stars she has looked for evil many times thru rituals . A relation ship with a spirit like a dream not witnessed by others bright but faded light of religions burn fire hell the d who is bound physically on earth most likely under water in the deepest sea breathing under water she was taken to him in a place like Atlantis. Evil worships believe he is fighting for us and the where are you now you fade away is an insult to God and religion as now people worship music TV etc begging with the Beatles many songs now are hymns of this type like halo Beyonce. Sorry but this is my thoughts blessed is the lord may Jesus bless and love you pbwu.

The interpretation of Faded actually means that the thing she's looking was her joy and happiness and then another day it disappears and she is looking for it everytime and then since she can't find it she thinks it is all a dream, her imaginationand what she meant by "I'm faded" is that she's lost without it.And she's searching the sea.And in her dream monsters are chasing her because she's horrible without it.And she's searching and searching...Thanks

A guy that is a loner hes so lost and feels like he lost his identity. He takes the long walk to find the house he grew up in . Its the notion of going back reflecting on our past mistakes to move forward. When he finally arrives to the home its old worn but still standing . Hes satisfied looks at it and realises I can now move forward . He finds what he was searching for . Closure

everyone's interpretation where subsequently right I mean par but there are some that get to me and being faded in what he's talking about is not a fantasy it seems like a fantasy but it is a if any of you know anything of the subconscious mind it takes you to a place to a different dimension or what you think as a fantasy is really reality vice versa to the reality you are when you're conscious Patriots a hallucinogenic Apparition to see the world how it is fit for this body subconsciously his fantasy it's like a faded what would it be a dream and yeah that's still heartbreaking everything also all that cuz I want to get into that because on the subject of the song faded I'm like that always I understand what you're saying subconsciously

I believe it means that she/he has this fear, one day she/he comes to look at the fear and wonders where it went after she stood up to it. Once she/he thinks about. lyrics, "Was it my imagination?" says that perhaps, maybe it was a fear, for fear is usually imagination. It's hard to explain, but listen to the song again with this description in mind.

The song signifies the situation of a person when he lost something (someone) valuable for him which then fades the person itself and gets he then gets snapped by the ravages of time.....
When we lose someone whom we consider as our soul then our body fades away as it can't live without it anymore

Alan said it was a collaboration with Iselin Solheim. Alan created the song, but Iselin sang the vocals. Walker said the song is about searching for something, or someone that's lost, or just feeling lost in general.

I must say that it was what I felt when watching the video, especially at the end where the actor Shahab Salehi (Leo) held up an old picture of a home, and we saw how desolate it has become.

he is trying to find a house i thought mabye he was going back to his childhood mabye and it is all gone because the house looks like a normal house in the picture but when he finds it is destroyed.this part is just crazy but i think the two trees at the end have a meaning like mabye the trees symbolize that mostly everyhting is gone but memories are still forever in his heart.

I believe this song is the experience of a Christian who is struggling with sin and crying to God about his/her struggle. Throughout the song this vibe is repeated. Where is God when I struggle with sin.

I know this sounds strange but I request you to note the words.

    Where are you now?
    Where are you now?
    Where are you now?
Was it all in my fantasy?
    Where are you now?
    Were you only imaginary?

A Christian who lost communion with God and questions His existence and all the while struggling with sin(Monster)

The sin is dragging him/her down, this experience is expressed in the word 'faded' which is repeated throughout the song

These shallow waters never met what I needed
(Nothing in the world satisfies this person)

Under the bright but faded lights
Gospel is bright(powerful to change lives) but a faded light(old message)

You set my heart on fire
    (born again experience in Christ)

Song ends with the expression of struggle and grief caused by sin(monster)

Where are you now? Another dream
The monster's running wild inside of me
    I'm faded, I'm faded
So lost, I'm faded, I'm faded
    So lost, I'm faded

This song captures the journey of a Christian.

"For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?"

    So lost I am faded!

Ending in Bible is different though.
Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Ah she is just a dickhead who wants some cock... She is looking for her next customer, she wants the perfect customer , she thinks she is julia roberts and will get a richard gere . But the richard she met is 80+ yrs old. Now she is fading as in fleecing , running, hiding. She is a gold digger bitch.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway
