Black Veil Brides: Beautiful Remains Meaning
Beautiful Remains Lyrics
Each bloodshot beauty still rings true, from violent crashes
Gently rest your weary head
What you've lived for now is dead
Goodnight
Goodbye
A soul surrender
This love will set...

#1 top rated interpretation:It sounds a lot like someone has died... "I'll strike a match to set you off" Cremation? Idk, but it says, "Gently rst your weary head" And people veiw death as just, tragic (Which, it is) But they think that hey are like, in pain, or watching them from above. And I veiw it as sleep. Peace. And quite obviously, it says, "Now death has come to claim, your beautiful remains" I picked out the word remains, and thought that when we die, everyone mourns, and what we left of ourselves could be beautiful, but people don't think of all the things we've done and dump all the changes we made because we are gone. They never think about it because they don't want to remember. SO death takes away all we left for the world.... Idk though

The song is about honoring a loved one who has passed away. It is not about necrophilia.

As someone before has posted, I believe it has something to do with death. Although I believe suicide may have been the cause of the death. It says, "We gather here to sing for you, the words you've written" could be a suicide note? And it says, "This love will set you free from thoughts of yesterday" could be something like cutting or drugs (something that could be the cause of death. It also states that, "Here in this room is what we must do" which could be interpreted as someone deciding to commit.
