Black Veil Brides: New Religion Meaning
New Religion Lyrics
We have got you in our sights
And thoughts of God are better left alone
It's in your head black and blue
What they told you wasn't true
Come along and fight the unknown
The army's grown
We'll pray to all the wrong...

I would say this son is about being happy with who you are no matter what anyone says you can or con not do, just take the closing lines "We are the unholy, we are the bastard sons of your media culture our eyes, minds and bodies were born in your exclusion an illusion you hide behind, you don't love a god you love your comfort, to you we are filth we are dirty so be it, we are dirty and unclean a congregation of the unseen, together we will set this world on fire, this is the new religion AMEN!" My taking of this is that being outcasted by society has no effect, that we don't care that we are different. The 'new religion' aspect is just saying to follow your own path and not to conform to society, take pride in being different.

I think this song is saying youre religion could just involve you being you and to join the bvb army and forget bout God but if you any form of Christianity the song is probably fun to listen to but shouldnt be taken out of context because that goes against your religion

It says "think of it this way, you don't have to be like them, be who you are, and stand up for your self this is a new religion and it`s called being yourself." No matter who is against you, they can`t tell you who to be and there are more people out there that are in the same boat as you are.
