Red Cold River Lyrics

Days reborn,
Fight with folded hands.
Pain left below,
The lifeless live again..
Run! (x3)
Red Cold River,
Run! (x3)
I can't feel anything at all,
this life has left me cold and dead.
I can't feel anything at all,
this love has lead me...

One thing is to try to put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Another, is to experience things that most people never have and will never experience. It’s day and night. Unless you have felt absolute hatred, unbearable pain, helplessness and loneliness for a very long time, as a result of things that other people have done to you and not because you did something or some things to put yourself in that situation, you can’t relate. No matter how hard you try to understand what someone else might have gone through or is going through, if you’ve never experienced it yourself or been through something similar, you just don’t know.

My interpretation of this song is you need a way to release run red cold river to me is the anger within ones self has come out and you need it to pass through you .

If you hold onto anger hate rage and grief it will consume you turn you into someone else but if you vent it the harsh feelings will fade . for some revenge is the only way to get some of their peace back. The part that says i cant feel anything at all tells me they lost what made them human what gave them a reason to get out of bed . i believe this song is about letting go and releasing pain

Red Cold River symbolizes anger/grief. Some type of event in the individual's life has unfolded, and she/he is struggling with the pain/hurt. It has become all encompassing in her/his life. "Days reborn" is life since that event.

In the current state of the individual's mind, they are unable to move on and heal. This inability is "fighting with folded hands".

The individual would like to leave the anger/hurt behind. Thus, the powerful repeating of "Run!"

But the song (individual's life) is left is a state of uncertainty. The event that changed his/her life seems impossible to move on from. "This love has led me to the end".

---This song is so incredibly powerful and applicable to individuals dealing with difficult life events. The video is an amazing depiction of an event that would cause feelings this strong.---

This isn't the most popular meaning I've heard of late, but it is a different perspective that crossed my mind in regard to the meaning of this song. Perhaps Red Cold River is suggesting that his blood (red) has gone cold, furthering the 'this life has left me cold and dead.' Just an interesting thought I decided to share.
