My personal opinion o. what oli is talking about in this song, is that he struggles to fit in this world and while battling depression meanwhile he gets sleep paralysis at night, and is screaming for help like “ can anyone respond” is trying to say thag he needs and wants someone to help him get through dis so that he doesn’t “drown” into depression.

I think its basically about fighting depressions,suicidal thoughts and longing for a cure..coz thats what the song meant for me anyways.... "It's like an avalanche
