A Plain Morning Lyrics

It's yet to be determined,
but the air is thick,
and my hope is feeling worn.
I'm missing home,

Yeah I was in salt lake too. It was a very somber moment. Actually brought a tear to my eye. Does anyone know who it was that went missing?

I actually was just at Dashboard's concert in Salt Lake City last night. He said he usually doesn't tell the meanings of his songs because the listeners should be free to interpret the meanings for themselves, which is great. But he told us why he wrote this song because it means a lot to him. While living in Florida, he got a call one day that a close friend had gone missing and he went out and helped the search parties for awhile. He said it was one of the hardest things ever and was devastated when they never found his friend. He also said that he used to hate playing this song because it would make him think of that person, but now he thinks of it as more of a tribute to their relationship and is happy to remember that person.
