Saints And Sailors Lyrics

This is where I say I've had enough
and no one should ever feel the way that I feel now.

I say it´s about that period of time starting when you´re about to break up, and ending when you´ve alredy broken up. Those days when you both know it´s nearly over, but nobody wants to start "The Talk". You´re hurt already, because not only do you know it´s going to end, but you don´t know what to do, and the other person just doesn´t seem to be trying at all, you barely speak. You don´t want to start "the talk" because you know that will be it, it will be over. But the stillness is unbareable, so you start it. He´s not talking about scars, he´s talking about recent bruises nd open wounds. These wounds are fresh. You start the talk and of course, without much effort, she breaks it up, and you´re alone, and she seems to be okay. He walks around the lonely house missing everything, almost fortetting how badly he wanted to get out of it too. It´s that transition between hating your relationship and missing it so badly!

It's talking about that point in a relationship where you know its just not working and all you wanna do is fight to fix it..

If you've ever been in a broken relationship, this song is painful to hear. It is about those first days of being alone again and only remembering the times the other person was a saint. You would do anything to be back with the person, but you need to remember all the cursed sailor things (s)he used to do.
