Under Ground Kings Lyrics
-
The title "Underground Kings" is referring to dying rich, and on the top of your game. Drake is talking about giving his life to the pursuit of wealth and riches. That his whole life's missions is to become rich and famous and die a "King". He talks about pushing himself and doing what ever takes. 'I was a cold dude, Im getting back to my ways'. Meaning that his feeling are second to his dire for money and success.putting that above all else. Dropping out of school because he realized a better way to make more money and acquire fame. And until he dies, will continue to life a kings lifestyle until he goes into the ground. "take my crown to my grave, Im an underground king". This simultaneously meaning that he was an unkown "Underground" artist that rose to fame and millions.
