Eminem: Legacy Meaning
Song Released: 2013
Legacy Lyrics
I'll be right there for you
Tell me what to say, no matter if it's true
I'll say it all for you
[Verse 1:]
I used to be the type of kid that would always think the sky is falling
Why am I so...

I think Marshall is trynna express, what he felt growing up as a kid , as he was oftenly bullied during his school days. So he is saying he overcame the problems and he is setting a legacy once and for all as nowadays he is considered to be the greatest rapper of all time , he turned from being a zero to a big man.
-
That he's the greatest! Period! Hip hop or rap is all garbage.. Eminem is soo far past every1 and any1 who challenges him is a strait fool! Take eminem away from hip hop/rap and your left with the same ol bullshit, blunts 40s and bitches! And for us the fans we can't relate! When em talks about depression drugs and betrayal we the people relate in this oppressive county we live in! We don't have nice cars and bitches all over us, bc real motherfuckers don't! We deal with real life and real life is what we wanna hear about rape! Not your American dream! Fuck you rape! Need to take some pages from the REAL rap god!
-
He has aspergers.
-
as lyrics says, eminem used to have difficult time in his grow up wondering why he is not normal. He feels like he does not belong in this world because he is so deviant from normality of this era. He certainly had pyscological pain that originated from his twisted childhood history too. At the end of lyrics, eminem confesses that his complex mental agony was the source of his ingenuity which made him eminem we know today.
-
I think it's about his bulling story and how his parents or guardian people tried to get him help and the psychologist tried to diagnose him with depression but they can't solve his problems only he can. But by the end of the song he realizes the way he used to be is a huge part of who he is today and he uses everything people said to him that brought him down to bring him up now hence the lyrics:
And use my enemy's words as strength. -
I think that this shows how he was able to escape the system that he was in and get away from not only the bullying in his childhood but it is a metaphor for his escape from drugs. That's just my opinion though. I think that it also shows that he is able to express his true feelings through his music.
-
Tells the story of how Buce grew up, being bullied and all. Beyond that shit he had a little world where he escaped to, his comic books. As the time goes, bullings continue, he thought he should stop being a sissy and let HIP-HOP take over his life and fuck everyone who wronged him. With all the caurage Hip-hop gave him, he leaves a legacy to those who want it.
