Hollywood Undead: Levitate Meaning
Levitate Lyrics
[J-Dog:]
Can't stop I need some help.
Fuck you, I'm by myself
Is it a truth or lie?
It's what you can't deny.
'Cause it's the way you think
Mix with the pills and drink
Brought back to the way you are
Float up...

#1 top rated interpretation:Straight up coke addiction. Giving up everything for the high which can be heaven and makes you feel like you're floating or levitating. Up all night partying but then you hit a sketchy paranoid phase where you just want to hide. With brutal nosebleeds. His baby is his drug, he doesn't need anything but that to be happy, or so he thinks. It destroys everything you've ever held near and dear. He's saying he has a problem and it's damaged everything, including himself. Gawd. And I'm kind of an expert on this.

#2 top rated interpretation:It's about addiction. In general. They mention coke, pills, booze. It's about that constant siren song that your addiction sings to you. I know. I've been there and my DOC STILL sings it to me every damn day.
-
It's about Meth and heroin. Not coke and not sex. Talking about the feeling of being high, escaping reality, and introducing someone into the life.
-
It's about crystal meth get hip and do a fat line and you will understand boys do cocaine men do crystal meth.
-
The siren song of addiction. Plain and simple.
(This song actually introduced me to HU) -
We depend on so many things... we pick every single vice, they all seem like pure love, joy, we cage ourselves... then when we get too fucked up, after painting the walls red drip from a nose, we look for an answer in some other vice that screams ''I can take you straight to heaven if you let me'' and the circle cycles...
-
Lol...it's just another song about heroin. Half of Third Eye Blind's songs are either about that or meth. And coke does NOT make you feel like you're levitating, heroin does. Coke makes your face numb and gives you energy. But I personally think it just is about H. but if not, then it's probably a double meaning between H, and sex.

j3t part is def about coke addiction. He describes it perfectly. Plus sometimes when they do it live he walks up to the front of the stage sniffing and whiping his nose.
-
Sounded more like a guy who likes a girl and just wants a chance."I can make your body levitate if you let me"
-
Danny's chorus goes I can make your body levitate if you let me. it could be about morethan drug addiction. What about sex addiction? Thats how i c it.
-
I guess the band says it's about alcoholism... coke seems to be more .... likely? Based on lyrics... like I said I "guess" J3T said alcoholism though. ...

injecting 8 ounces of sweet Mexican black tar heroin Into the tip of my cock
