I Don't Wanna Die Lyrics

#1 top rated interpretation:(Long but good) Definitely about 2 guys fighting over a guy..."I don't wanna die, so you're gonna have to." The guy is the girl's friend, but her boyfriend knows someone will die, and he won't let himself die. "Told you once, I'm the only one who holds her." Her boyfriend knows the other guy likes her and pulled a move on her. The fight starts with words--"I know that blood will be spilled, and if you won't, then I will." The 2nd verse is the fight turning physical. "Words turn into blood and the blood keeps on pouring" the fight gets violent. "Now someone's gotta die, and I'm my only opponent." The other guy is bloody and beaten, and can't really stand up for himself anymore, but the girl's boyfriend keeps going, he can't stop himself, he's his only opponent now. "'Cause I won't watch my baby cry, so I keep on just going." His girlfriend is crying because he's hurt, she wants them to stop, but he continues. "Am I a man or a beast? It's mother nature at least..." He's showing no mercy and is acting like an animal beating this guy, but it's survival of the fittest to him. The final verse shows the girl's boyfriend regretting what he did. "Now that I see you buried 6 feet below..." He tries to make himself feel like he did what was right..."I couldn't let him breathe 'cause I didn't wanna die." He realizes what he did was wrong and talks to his girlfriend about it, she tries to comfort him but he cries..."It's not alright, can you hear me as I cry...I couldn't let you live 'cause I didn't wanna die."

#2 top rated interpretation:I think that this song is about someone about to commit suicide because of something they did to hurt someone else (the someone else being her). When some people go through suicidal thoughts they have two conflicting people inside, the one who wants to die and the one who doesn’t, I think that this song is like a response to bullet which appears on the same album, “bullet” is told from the part of him who wants to kill himself to be free, but in “I don’t wanna die” it’s the side who knows that everyone would feel pain becuase of it and he doesn’t want to die because of it and he thinks he can just bury the pain

#3 top rated interpretation:While many people seem to think it's about soldiers or Jeff the Killer, I disagree. I think it's a broken love story. Let's look at the first verse:
"I look inside of myself and try to fund someone else, someone who's willing to die as to watch you crying for help" I find this line to mean that the person this song is talking about it heartbroken, but doesn't want to kill himself over it. As the first verse continues, he mentions killing someone, who we will get to later on. He wants to go too heaven despite the crime he wishes to create, or that he did do. His grave well never be filled if he doesn't kill the person who broke his heart.
Second verse: I feel like he's beginning to doubt the decision to kill, but near the end, he decides that it's the necessary choice.
Third "verses": "another life goes into the night, I couldn't let you breathe cause I didn't want to die" "can you hear me as I cry? I couldn't let you live cause I didn't wanna die. " Hrs talking to his victim in the second, and in the first, he's speaking to him after his victim is dead.
Chorus: the biggest decider.
I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die
I don't wanna die so you're gonna have to
I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die
No I don't wanna die so you're gonna have to
Blood is getting hotter, body's getting colder
I told you once I'm the only one who holds her
I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die
I don't wanna die so you're gonna have to
He obviously didn't want to die,but thought that it wad necessary. From this and the verses, it's safe to say that he's taking about a girl that broke his heart, but this is not his victim. His victim is the man that took het from him. He thinks that she's not happy with him, and wants to help her. "I told you once I'm the only one who holds her". Though he's not helping her. After he kills the other man, we're not sure what happens, though I believe that she grieved for the man he killed. Devastated that he hurry her, he's free to kill himself now, though that idea can't be proven. That is the case if he actually killed him, which might not have happened. We seen his lapse of doubt, so he easily could have spared the other man's life, maybe killed himself, or moved on. We'll never know for sure. -
Not wanting to die and killing people to survive .

I could only think that this great song by the HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD is about The One, not wanting to die by losing his false and hungry Ego, sometimes called Our sin nature or the animal nature that doesn't want to die in Us. Where many times It constantly pushes Us to kill at any cost if necessary, like a hungry Beast. But this animalistic first birth of Ours needs to die in You[Us] as The Other. Like by what Charlie Scene said ''I look inside of myself'' for answers . In order for You to be Born Again in the Spirit Of God, if You are a believer in the true power of Jesus Christ to truly know that You and your soul are truly saved now.

I think, this is about some one being told to kill by a friend or by a voice in their head (most likely friend or another human that has some sort of value to him)
Voice in head theory: the voice in their head is pressuring the person mentioned or referenced to as 'I' in the song to kill and if they don't the voice has convinced him or her that it will kill them if they don't
Person of value theory: the person valued to them is pressuring him/her to kill a person (most likely some one who did them bad or caught the doing something bad) and if they don't he or she will kill them -

It could be about anything, it could be about the Infamous CreepyPasta character Jeff the Killer, it could be about war, it could be about lost or broken love, it all depends on who is listening.

J3T already talked about it in an interview:

I definetiley feel as if this song is about soldiers. The lines "blood is getting hotter body's getting colder" is about in the heat of gunfire, how adrenaline pumps the blood while the fear of death chills the bones. The "her" in "told you one=ce I'm the only one that holds her" is the wife waiting back home, a reason for him to get back avlive, a reason for him to live, forn he will notleave her alone for someone else. Later on though, it switches to the soldier back home, struggling with PTSD and all the horrible things that he did. This is what I am getting from this song

Its about how a man doesn't want to loose his lover, so he is fighting the man who's also seeking the said lover.
The 'dying' he is speaking of of himself is in an emotional way, for his heart belongs to her and her only.
--"'Cuz I'm an angel, a demon, hell and I'm Heaven,
I'm everything you could've dreamed of,
Do you believe in the Devil?"
"..told you once, I'm the only one that holds her."
"I don't wanna die, I don't wanna die, I don't wand die, so you're gonna have to." -
It's about someone on the verge of suicide because they did no get the girl but instead of killing themselves they lash out violently towards the girls boyfriend.

Something happened to Charlie's daughter maybe?

This song is about Jeffry Woods (Jeff The Killer) from the popular horror website creepypastawiki. Jeff the killer was a teenager that was bullied at school so he tried to kill himself. After a failed attempt he rielized he didn't want to die, only to cause suffering to OTHER people. Now he kills anyone in his way. This includes his entire family.
I don't wanna die so YOU'RE gonna have to.
also his catchphrase is Go To Sleep.
When the dirt hits the coffin just go to sleep! -
I think it's about the Creepypasta jeff the killer. Jeff was insane and tried to kill himself but he couldn't. After he realized he didn't want do die after watching how much pain the people he kills goes through, but he still enjoys it. He takes his anger and fear out on innocent bystanders.

(this is alot to read i know but hear this out before skipping) there are 2 perspectives one is about a guy who is dating a girl and someone tries to put a move on her and they sees it "bloods getting hotter body's getting colder" his blood is pumping with anger and as his blood is pumping his body gets colder cause when fighting with rage his body goes numb of pain Am I a man or a beast? It's mother nature at least. watch humanity cease 'cause its our human disease" its the human diseas to care for others. this aint the first time this other guy has pulled this crap on her "told you once im the only one who holdes her" so he did what ever he could to defend her. the part about the beast is saying he lost control and he's unsure about being a beast or man but its in our nature to be like that. "Words turn into blood and the blood keeps on pouring from every pore" the fight starts as words then they start swinging punches and there's blood that keeps pouring from the cuts. eventrualy the fight caries on for so long that the guy who was fighting for his girlfriend the other guy died "i couldnt let you live cause i didnt wanna die!" he came to death him self but his love for her kept on going even when he knew the risk of keeping the going. thats one perspective the other is army someone goes over seas to fight for the U.S. and they wounder if what there doing makes them a beast and its our nature to fight with people even when peace is trying to be kept and when it says "told you once im the only one who holdes her" thats talking about the U.S. and her freedom that there defending and she doesn't want to die so she has to kill to stay alive there are more ways to put this song and alot more to be said but this is a great song
