Hollywood Undead: Coming Back Down Meaning
Coming Back Down Lyrics
it's like you're here with me now
but the words you say
they always seem to fade out
since you been away
I'm just a face in the crowd
someday, someday
I know you're coming back
down in the dirt
with your blood on my...

#1 top rated interpretation:I don't really know the meaning but it's deffinately the loss of someone.
I like this song because it reminds me of my first love. Three months ago on this day (3.17.11 was the day he did it) he killed himself. I've been trying to find a good song for his slideshow I put together in memory of him and I think this one was the best choice. Just thought I'd share that.. -

#2 top rated interpretation:It's a song about loss. You lose someone important but he/she didn't leave. he/she is alive, alive in your heart. The human body can die but the memory of who they were is immortal. This song reminds me of the girl I love the most. She died because of me... It was because of my weakness... We were supposed to be married... But she's alive. here in my heart and my soul. Whenever I miss her, I just look inside my heart and there she i!!! Smiling at me with her arm wide open asking me to hug her. I'm so sorry my love, I wasn't able to protect you...

#3 top rated interpretation:I actually think that it's about a close friend committing suicide..."you were too good for this world so you left it, everything turned red and then you made an exit." It makes it sound like it was a choice, and maybe "everything turned red" is a metaphor for something bad happening and being the final straw before they killed themself, hence "and then you made an exit." The line "and you were never happy till the angels sing" could mean that the person was depressed and was finally happy once they got to heaven. The chorus is their best friend reflecting on how they can't get their friend out of their head, and how they're not the same, "I'm just a face in the crowd."

It's about losing the person you love and you want to see them again.

Whoever says this song is about Jesus coming back down, is a total idiot and have never listened to Hollywood Undead before. It's clearly about someone who lost their friend because of suicide. What proves this is the line "you were to good for this world, so you left it". This implies that the person was a really nice, and caring person but for whatever reason, they took their own life. Hopefully you understand what I'm saying.

I highly doubt it was about Duece because it talks of death and Duece is far from it. I was watching a copuple videos about H.U and i heard that one of the members daughter died and that one of their cousins got shot. I think the song is for both of them thats why you hear "tell my baby i love her, and i wish i could hold her" and for the cousin part they say "thinking you could never die like you're bullet proof" but they also give other hints about one of their deaths. But i belive it might be for both of them.

i find it funny reading all these responses saying that it is about jesus coming back or one of the bands close friends. Blaid Dallas Spurgeon was my cousin. he died when he was 16, on the day of his heart transplant. they dedicate this song to him because he won a sweepstakes to meet the band face to face, but he died before hollywood undead could meet him. he was born with a hole in his heart and was autistic, but that never stopped him. i am now 16, and i will never forget the fun adventures that we went through together.
i miss you, Blaid -
I think J-dog had a family member die and this song is dedicated to that person. I think they died in a drive by but I'm not sure and I personally think it is a way of keeping hope that the person might come back in some way

Definately not about Jesus, it's about a close friend of the band who died, as mentioned by anonymous (May 19th 2011, 15:16). Also, if you don't have something to say about the song, QUIT mentioning your own experiences. This site is lyricinterpretations.com, not mylifeinterpretations.com.

I think it's about how somebody close past away and he's learning the lesson of how much it hurts, and how you got to over come the hurt.
