   This song could be many interpretations. It all depends on ones life and what they see in the lyrics. I personally feel based on the lyrics that it is about a homosexual or transgender kid struggling with his or her own mind, taking his or her own life, and struggling with the fact that there could be an afterlife. In the entire song it speaks of men and women being equal and of transgender oriented topics, from "a woman held my shield" to "maybe one day we can choose how it feels to be a woman or a man". In the final bridge this person then reflects on his decision, with regret might i add, seeing someone cry on his mothers shoulder. as he then faces "the gates of heaven" and realizes something is wrong. its not authorized by the bible to be homosexual or transgender so why is he approaching heaven. This song is about a confused person hating him/herself for something not up him/herself, and also loving it because it is who he/she is. That is only my interpretation and could mean any number of other things.

   its time in need.... theres a war going on. only few know whats right (whos right,whom to trust).
   only few know theres a crisis(kind of).
   millions are lazy, dont care, are afraid,can easily be threatened.its only those who can bare this pain and overcome it.only a few are brave enough to speak their heart out.it is because they are not oversmart, not having more attitude,and they are dignified, having worldly knowledge.
   
   now the woman para even i dont know.....thats why i visited this site to understand the meaning of this hyper-philosophical song...................
