1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:a lot of these comments seem feesable and I think that maybe it's about four main points:1)a nuclear war/winter 2)the Roman soldier scava (what he fought for and compareing their fights with his) 3) what to do (or what will happen to) broken people who have (or are worried that they don't have) anything or anyone to keep fighting for 4)what do you do when you do everything in your power to protect what you keep sacred but still fail 5) people who have given everything up without realizing what they have done
The only thing that I don't understand is why they made the title S.C.A.V.A. not SCAVA if it's just one or two names why separate the letters in this manner? -
2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:As suggested by the lyrics, they represent the feelings of the artist in the last hours of the life, being so sorry about their children and wishing that they lived more.
It is also clear to me that this song is about their children because SCAVA stands for Scarlett+Ava and it's kind of the only reason Hollywood Undead would take a pause from Grinding on the B**ches and sing such a pure, such a sensible song -
3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:Its about him wanting to go to heaven so badly and he never realized how much it meant to him until he looked into his daughters eyes and realized there must be something more to life and he's asking God to help him and just give him a glimpse of hope. He wants to be saved but he can't without gods direction.
-
It's about the world nowadays.
-
This is a song about the hate of people who hurt and didn't care about the artist. It also explains that this is the kind of treatment that creates today's Isis and murderers. it's telling the people who hurt the artist to leave and stop trying to 'fix' the person they have hurt and scarred.
-
Maybe it IS about the end of the world when Danny says "as the end is getting closer" which could also mean death (obviously) and since the song was being written around 2012 which was the year the world was said to end in he was probably upset because he wouldn't get to see his daughter (who was 2 years old at the time) grow up and have a future or something like that (that is my theory)
-
I honestly think that SCAVA was written about someone who is about to die and wants to go to heaven, but can't because he already sold his soul to Satan. He realized that there is more to life than fame and glory and just needs hope.
-
S.C.A.V.A i believe like was said already could be about the roman soldier scava in some way but why is it written like S.C.A.V.A?
here is the answer
SCArlet
and
AVA
scarlet and ava the the daughters of j3t and danny the s and c in scava come from scarlet, the a is shared by both and v and a in scava comes by ava -
maybe they are saying a story about how revelations happened and they were left behind and had to deal with tribulations and then when he says "Everybody says greetings and goodbyes
Everybody pays – no one knows the price" maybe hes talking about people accepting the devils number to buy and sell things but they don't understand that they will burn forever and then when Danny says just let me die. i think hes saying hes dying but now he believes and he just wants to go to heaven and leave earth behind... -
Also, me again, nuclear apocalypse guy, 'A mausoleum fit for me, I lived a hundred years, a hundred years I didn't see' it could mean living in a fallout shelter throughout your life.
-
I feel like this is about nuclear warfare and the end it brings. The lyrics 'bombs are splitting atoms' is pretty heavily set towards this, and 'the earth has scorched the skies' means radioactive ash and dust filled the atmosphere. 'The earth is getting colder' is explained by nuclear winter. 'Where do we go, we go, lord I don't know' might be referencing the fact if a nuclear bomb went off, radioactive fallout would disperse through the atmosphere, poisoning the area it reaches. Look at Pripyat, that wasn't even WEAPONIZED nuclear radiation, and look at the damage it did.
-
I think they're trying to explain that they are unsure of what happends in life after death, and they dont know where to turn because they dont want to live eternity in Hell. They don't know what the future will have in store for broken souls like theirs but they dont want to pray to a God that doesn't exist...

Honestly i think it is about someone(J3T in this case) accepting that their life is ending and wants to go on to Heaven, but someone close to him has made poor decisions, basically throwing away everything(Heaven).
-
I think it could be about the roman solider,Scava's, view on life, a part 2 to Paradise Lost, have something to do with life itself, thus being named after J3T's and Danny's daughters [Sc]arlet and [Ava], the world ending, or what happens to us when its over but it doesnt really matter because its a beautiful song and to me that's all that matters.

the title is a mix between danny nd j3ts daughters names scarlet and ava its about 2012 and the end of the world but i think it has a deeper meaning.i think tht close 2 the end hes wondering if there is an afterlife or a heaven and hell
