    It's actually about a burlesque dancer Jason knew and she had a tattoo of a small butterfly on her hip. He wanted to make a song that had a groove for strippers. He succeeded. Either way the double entendre cannot be missed as her "butterfly" is very applicable to the labia minora.

    Butterfly = Her Pussy.

    And in case anyone was wondering about the meaning of the song itself, it's actually about sex. Check up the lyrics, and once you figure out what "butterfly" is it's pretty obvious.

    "Let me feel you upside down, slide in, slide out."

    "I'm your pole and all you're wearing is your shoes."

    "Getting closer to your butterfly."

    I thought it was about a stripper at first teasing him because he only says getting closer. But then I thought it was her butterfly being her orgasm..

    I think this song is about a hooker that he fell in love with.
